well tonight stream went really well had alot of fun over on kick. Said my piece about view botting an twitches bullshit but had my fun none the less even found me a pvp/pve server with a bit of rp to play on so might be bring a bit of rp to the scene here soon gang .

If you don't viewbot, you shouldn't be worried about such a thing as viewer caps on public display. If someone is a legitimate viewer or someone who is willing to convert into a supportive or converted audience member - you are still gaining their support.

@KawaiiGuyCom Thats true. But the concern I have is from viewbot attacks I have had that done by spiteful people because I have either ban them or there people loyal to other streamers doing it out of misguided loyalty even been hit by hate raids people keep wanting to ignore.

@xVi_Vixenx @zachbussey Hell i have had twitch tell me to keep streaming an not react to it even when I knew I was getting hit by a bot. An twitch emailed answer was will look into it but there is nothing we can do at this moment. Same answer everytime I have reported even in channels i mod for.

@zachbussey I am sorry but I don't see anyone using this. If someone gets maliciously view botted I am sure they will choose to just keep streaming and ignore it, then cry about the cap later.

Twitch will launch the ability for creators to self-enforce a view cap if they feel they are being viewbotted. This would presumably allow the creator to avoid punishment issued by Twitch's detection by proactively self-capping.

@zachbussey That's my question how do you tell because like during drop events an even when i have gotten raided by larger streamers how do I catch it for real without shooting myself in the foot with legit viewers. Yeah I want to get rid of the bots.

@TamTamTammy3 Thats true in the first one i killed the dragon lev with the prawn suit but aside from that I just use the repulse an other stuff to stun or push things away or the decoys its not that hard to fool things if you know what your doing.

Anyone who complains about not being able to kill the fish in Subnautica is such a tourist. That's not the point of these games at all. You could do it in the other games but it would take like 20 minutes to take down a Leviathan and is 100% not the intended way to play.

@pcgamer in sub 1 there were plenty of ways to defend yourself without the need of a gun. You do not need one now period just learn how to adapt that is all if you cant then its a player issue not the game an people just dont want to step up to the plate.

@spikesguides What people are really bitching about is the fact they want easy mode with a weapon they can kill stuff that get in there way instead of having to figure out ways to coe live even with stuff that is hostile to me this is more of a challeng to take things on without weapons.

@bigmonkeong Only been out a couple days and there's already a mod for killing creatures. So perhaps the devs should actually listen to what players want in their game that's in early access and specifically requests feedback from the community to help build this game.

@TorbisXD I swear people are brain dead in the first game the main focus was going around exploring an defending yourself mainly with none lethal weapons the idea was to survive not destroy everything. Seems some fools can process that idea. Your spot on though with your statement.

Subnautica 2 devs say "go play Sons of the Forest" if you don't like its lack of violence. The game focuses on underwater exploration, and you cannot kill most creatures. On the official Discord, one player asked why killing is impossible in SN2 as it makes no sense. Level designer Artyom O’Rielly replied, “This is not a killing game, so go play Sons of the Forest if you want to kill.” Another developer said, “The team discusses this a lot inside the studio and may let players catch small fish for food, but large creatures will stay safe so the game feels right.” This idea comes from the first Subnautica, as the team wants players to discover things, feel wonder, and live with ocean life instead of fighting it. A fan-made mod already lets players kill creatures, and the studio is reading all feedback. It plans to add better ways to scare off creatures but will not add weapons. Early access is expected to last up to 3 years.

@Pirat_Nation It's so disappointing that we supported them this much for them to just come back and do this. This hole "you don't owe own the game you buy" is an exploit by companies we need to fix. If they don't want to be physical, then they shouldn't get more rights because of it.

Subnautica 2 developers Unknown Worlds have responded to community backlash over the game’s EULA following its Early Access launch The studio confirmed it will never take action against streamers or content creators and will not enforce clauses restricting gameplay recordings or monetization. Community representative Sam Dark addressed modding concerns “We will not take action against player-made mods as long as they follow the few simple rules Donya shared a while back (like not selling the mods). Many of us are in the modding Discord, the studio was founded by modders, and some of our playtesters are modders.” The team is reviewing other player feedback on the EULA terms, which include >a license-only ownership model >$50 maximum cap on damages >VPN restrictions This comes as Unknown Worlds has assumed self-publishing responsibilities after legal disputes with former publisher Krafton.

Its the same thing with these games you do not own the game your paying for the right to play the game its always been that way.
