Today, we hosted members of the @GoodDeedsDay Uganda community at our offices for a planning meeting ahead of this year’s celebration. Together, we are preparing for Good Deeds Day 2026 happening on 12th April 2026 at @the_oliveschool and this year’s theme is: “The Power of Young People in the World of Doing Good.” The meeting was a reminder that real change begins when passionate people come together with one shared purpose; to serve, uplift and transform lives through simple but meaningful actions. From supporting vulnerable children to promoting kindness in our communities, every good deed matters. We are excited to work hand in hand with partners, volunteers, schools and youth leaders to make this year’s event impactful and memorable. We encourage everyone to be part of this movement because doing good is one of the strongest ways to make a difference. Let’s stand together, serve together and build a kinder world. #DoGoodTogether

"I've been part of the system, recruited by an INGO from a local NGO. Let's invest in local organisations, they're polished products. If you want quality, pay for it! Let's work together to make localisation a reality”- Francis Shanty Odokorach, Country Director Oxfam Uganda. #C4CUganda #C4CAnnualDialogueUg.
