I hit a loose dog whilst cycling and needed collarbone surgery. here’s my one week post surgery fit check

Profound apologies to everyone whose travel has been disrupted on Thursday evening by the trespass incident at Retford, a train failure at Stevenage and other incidents. Despite the best efforts of @LNER and @NetworkRailEC colleagues, we were unable to get many of you to your destination on Thursday evening and I am very sorry for this extreme inconvenience. LNER services on Friday 17 April will be subject to alteration as the extended closure of the route on Thursday means that trains and crews are out of position. We will restore services back to normal as soon as we can - please follow LNER on social media and WhatsApp for updates.

@DavidHorne @LNER @NetworkRailEC .. then told hotel is full, back on the train, “we’ll go via Lincoln”? So at 0315, train pulls into Wakefield… DOORS WONT OPEN!! Has to continue to Leeds, get a taxi home. Sure you’ll refund the train tix but work paid - but she gets nothing for 8 hours of time lost. Calamity.

@DavidHorne @LNER @NetworkRailEC My partner left home in Wakefield at 0600 to go to London for a work course. 1900 train back. Sat still for 4 hours, at Retford with no real updates. Then train went backwards to Newark and they got off - told they’d be put into a hotel, stood around there for a while.. 1/2

@theJeremyVine As a road cyclist, this guy is an embarrassment and seems unhinged. I hope he sees this. Anyway, I wish him a double visit from the puncture fairy.

I think I just Britain’s rudest cyclist. He was annoyed at the way I changed lanes, and in future I will signal earlier. But this tirade broke all records. I need to know if he’s in a customer-facing job. It’s all here:

Manchester Airport Terminal 2 today: The Asian man is lying prone with his hands by his side, so I can't see any viable reason for the officer kicking his face and then stamping on his head whilst ALSO discharging his taser. A 2nd man fully compliant is then also punched in the back of the neck when being thrown to the ground. @gmpolice and/or @BTP has some serious questions to answer.
