@PamelaEvette Sigh. I really thought you would be the most reasonable, pragmatic one in the republican primary race.

The fact that a speech had to be canceled for credible safety threats is exactly why we cannot give up the fight to end indoctrination and DEI on campuses once and for all. The root problem is professors who gin up feigned outrage at the detriment of their students, who they should be teaching to think critically. End tenure now!

BREAKING via WSJ President Trump is weighing a military operation to extract nearly 1,000 pounds of uranium from Iran, a complex and risky mission that would likely put American forces inside the country for days or longer.  Teams of U.S. forces would need to fly to the sites, likely under fire from Iranian surface-to-air missiles and drones. Once on site, combat troops would need to secure perimeters so that engineers with excavating equipment could search through debris and check for mines and booby traps.  The extraction of the material would likely need to be conducted by an elite special operations team specially trained to remove radioactive material from a conflict zone. The highly enriched uranium is likely contained in 40 to 50 special cylinders that resemble scuba tanks. They would need to be put into transportation casks to protect against accidents. That could fill several trucks. Unless an airfield was available, a makeshift one would need to be set up to bring equipment in and take the nuclear material out. The entire operation would take days or even a week to complete. Full Story: on.wsj.com/4m43Y9G

“Democrats should be clear, unambiguous, & proud about what they believe: America must be strong. The military must be prepared. Not to start wars — the exact opposite. The whole point of genuine readiness is that it makes wars less likely…”
Adam Kinzinger (Slava Ukraini) 🇺🇸🇺🇦@AdamKinzinger

Fun fact: you've probably landed at an airport next to a row of fighter jets sitting in the open, near a road, near a fence. Ukraine destroyed Russian aircraft the same way — drones hidden in a truck. We should probably talk about this. (link in reply)

Here’s a video from Holy Islamville, South Carolina. Still think we don’t need a Ban Sharia Law bill because “it won’t be problem here?”

Brutal way for the Cougars' season to end. Over the past five games it seemed like they'd put some of this season's issues behind them and then tonight was worst case scenario across the board.

Will post a new bracket tonight after Michigan-Michigan St. Will feel very familiar to include Northern Iowa and very strange to exclude UNC Wilmington. The vagaries of March…

Wow. Home run solution, Mr. President, to the chaos facing our country from sanctuary city policies. You and your team have come up with a remedy that Democrats should accept and America needs. It consists of two parts: Reasonable cooperation between the federal government and sanctuary cities and states to ensure we have control over violent, convicted felons facing deportation — and others who present a public safety risk. Ninety percent of Americans support this, and cities and states should do that for public safety. As to non-violent offenders, they will go into an orderly process of immigration disposition. Second and equally important: Your commitment, Mr. President, to ending sanctuary city policies forever is welcome news to me. In my view, sanctuary cities incentivize massive fraud like we have seen in Minnesota. They continue to be a magnet for illegal immigration because if you get to one of these sanctuary cities, you wrongfully stay in America. Finally, sanctuary city policies lead to chaos because states and local governments ignore federal laws that have been on the books for decades. As for my part, I will champion a legislative effort to end sanctuary city policies forever, which could lead to rational immigration reform. I hope Democrats will see the wisdom of this, and the Senate will come together to end sanctuary city policies that are net losers for the country. To my Democratic colleagues, I know you may not like President Trump, but you have to love the country. I have done things with Democrats on numerous occasions that were not popular with my base but were good for the country. I ask that you do the same now.

When I was in Minneapolis, I heard a number of crazy stories. But near the top of the list: A couple of off duty ICE and CBP officers were going to dinner in Minneapolis. They were doxed and their location revealed, and the restaurant was then mobbed. The officers were locked in the restaurant, and local police refused to respond to their pleas for help (as they've been directed by local authorities). Eventually, their fellow federal agents came to their aid. This is just a taste of what's happening in Minneapolis because state and local officials refuse to cooperate with immigration enforcement. They have created the chaos so they can have moments like yesterday, where someone tragically dies and politicians get to grandstand about the evils of enforcing the border. The solution is staring everyone in the face. I hope authorities in Minneapolis stop this madness.

Congress can end this tariff madness whenever it wants. I don’t think the current delegations of the tariff power to the president are legal—or being interpreted correctly. But, irrespective, they can be rescinded instantly by Congress. It could do it today.

It's ok to have mixed feelings today. Pride in our military. Hope for a Venezuela free from Maduro. Concern about tenuous legal authority and fraying constitutional safeguards. Anxiety about what comes next on the ground, in Venezuela and at home.
