I’ve personally spoken to several pilots over the last 12 years and asked them how often they have to dip the nose of the plane to accommodate curvature as they navigate the globe earth. They’ve all given me the same answer: the nose of the plane never dips. I also asked them what kind of surface they’re flying over - do they see any curvature as they fly or is it just a flat surface? They’ve all said the same: it’s flat.

Been out and about in Suffolk's tourist hotspots today. Snape Maltings, lunch in Aldeburgh. Weather's been fabulous - sunny and warm. But I don't think I've ever seen it as quiet as it is this Easter school holidays. Stepdaughter says it's been quiet in Cornwall too. Cost of living really hitting people now perhaps?

There was a bloke called Jim who was prime minister once, he had the same surname as Dirty Harry and was really shit at his job that's when they invented Margaret Thatcher . Life started getting really lavish, we had chip shops and take aways , Italian restaurants with waiters called Luigi who were really good at making girls pregnant. Cars didn't have head rests and Jimmy Savile hadn't started flogging seatbelts as only some cars had them No one could spell pedophile because we didn't know we had any, We trusted the BBC. It's a knock out was a game show, not a boxing result and people stayed in to watch The Generation Game because there were prizes you only ever dreamed of, like toasters and chip pans and leatherette car seat covers and a cuddly toy. A night out involved beer and a delicacy called scampi in a basket , not a real basket a plastic one so the tartar sauce didn't run out. People showed off about having central heating put in and buying Tupperware. Cobblers were craftsmen who repaired your shoes it wasn't a rebuke. Nobody had fancy dogs Women never mentioned the menopause they just looked like they'd been caught shoplifting, all red faced and sweaty then it would pass .. It was the worst of times, the best of times ... We didn't get a choice 😉

I haven’t had holiday since last August, I’d love one right now…yet our Prime Minister,that we pay, & that’s overseeing record high crime rates, taxes, energy bills etc…is away again,while there’s a global conflict involving our bases,& with our troops stationed near. Crazy.
