Despite spending a decade being wrestled, shoved, elbowed, and constantly fouled without getting many penalty decisions, Mohamed Salah has remained one of the most humble, respectful, and classy players in football.

Daniel Taylor, You really need to do justice to Sterling when writing. He broke out at 16, playing top level football, and now he’s 31. Out of these years, he was at the top for more than a decade. Many players don’t have that. I’ll remind you of what he’s achieved just incase you’ve led many people on, people who possibly have amnesia. Y’all cannot rewrite history. Sterling is the second youngest player to score for Liverpool, only behind Owen. Golden boy award in ‘14 (Best U-21 player in Europe) Scored over 100 goals in the premier league at age 27, the 8th youngest player to score over 100 goals. He’s also part of the PL-100 club. 5 Career Hat tricks…also scored the fastest hat trick in 18/19 season, it took him 13mins. About 100 premier league appearances for Liverpool Over 200 appearances for Man City, and playing under the most successful manager as a REGULAR. PFA Young player of the year FWA Footballer of the year PFA Team of the year UEFA Champions League Squad of the season twice Liverpool Player of the year twice He’s also an MBE, due to work he’s done for the black race. Promoting racial equality in sports. It doesn’t end here. 4 Premier Leagues 1 FA Cup 5 Carabao Cups 1 Champions league and Carabao Cup runner up. He also played close to 100 games for England, scoring many goals, very reliable and also led them to 2nd place at the Euros in 2020. Let it be known that Raheem Sterling is a LEGEND of the game, especially in the premier league. Let your write ups always cover it. Positive contents can do numbers, not just negatives. Thanks, Daniel.

“I feel pity because he was such a fantastic footballer. But if you feel pity… it’s over.” Jan Everse, the ex-Netherlands international, is not alone in feeling sad at Raheem Sterling’s decline. The man once tipped to win a Ballon d’Or cannot even get off the bench for Feyenoord and faces an uncertain future. So what’s gone wrong? And what happens next? @DTathletic nytimes.com/athletic/72534…

I disagree with your analysis @AnitaNnekaJones That wasn’t a masterclass from Ousmane Dembele or PSG. Liverpool outplayed them in all areas. All. We saw with our eyes, and the stats also backs that up. From possession, to xG, to shots on target, to everything, Liverpool outplayed them. You pointed out that the counters, and that was what PSG did, they had like 3-4 transitions and capitalised on it. Fairs. In no way was PSG better than Liverpool apart from taking their chances. This is also how Dembele won the BDOR, ghosted from August to January last season, played against Brest and scored 5 goals, the narration for BDOR started. Media was also pushing it. It won’t work this time because we now know the script, Dembele also knows the script. No one has heard about him since the season started. He ghosted yesterday but did his usual statpadding, he would glaze us all and want to be front runner for BDOR again. It won’t work this time.

If Arne Slot leaves in the summer, I’ll thank him for delivering the Premier League title and I’ll still call him a Liverpool legend. Winning the league in your first season deserves respect, no matter how this ends. But at the same time, you cannot: Lose 9 out of 12 games Lose twice to City, Utd, Galatasaray and PSG Lose three times to Palace Drop points at Anfield to Igor Tudor’s Tottenham and Callum McFarlane’s Chelsea Fail to beat a single promoted side at home Lose to a Wolves side that has only won 3 league games all season Lose 3-0 at home to Forest Get battered 4-1 at home by PSV Concede the most goals from set pieces in the league Lose 18 games in a season … and still expect to keep your job as Liverpool manager. And the scary thing is, the season still isn’t over.

“It’s also on the pitch" Mohamed Salah has broken more records on the pitch; the Premier League official account had to write an essay about his achievements in a single season.

🚨🚨 Arne Slot has responded to Mohamed Salah's comments about standards at Liverpool: “The standards are not only important in the gym”. 👀🏋🏼‍♂️ “It’s also on the pitch. Okay. You understand me? Without me saying anything?”.

🚨🎙️| Thierry Henry on Liverpool getting dominated by this struggling Chelsea side after Arne Slot dismissed Mohamed Salah’s warning about standards dropping: 🗣️ “Mohamed Salah saw this coming. People laughed when he spoke about Liverpool’s standards dropping, but what did we watch today against Chelsea? That did not look like a serious Liverpool side. This is a Chelsea team everybody has been calling inconsistent, immature, mentally weak all season… yet they looked sharper, hungrier, more organized, and physically stronger than Liverpool. That should worry Arne Slot a lot. I heard Slot’s response to Salah, saying standards are bigger than one player. Normally I agree with that. But football does not care about press conference answers, it exposes you on the pitch. And today the pitch exposed Liverpool badly. When your pressing disappears, your midfield stops competing, and your senior players cannot control the tempo against this Chelsea side, then maybe Salah was not protecting his ego… maybe he was warning people. Liverpool fans hate hearing this because Salah is a legend, but legends usually recognize decline before supporters do. He has been inside that dressing room every day. Maybe he already saw the drop in mentality, intensity, and accountability coming. Chelsea did not even need to be amazing today. Liverpool made them look like a top European side through poor structure and lack of fight. That is the dangerous part. So yes, after watching this performance, I think Salah was right to question whether Liverpool’s standards are slipping. Because elite teams do not get outrun and outworked by a Chelsea side that spent most of the season getting mocked.” #LIVCHE

For people want more context, here is what the deal entails : Imagine the US used to give money to help African countries fight diseases like HIV, malaria, and TB through big aid organisations like USAID/PEPFAR. Now, under a new Trump policy called "America First," they're changing how that money is given. Instead of sending cash through proxy NGOs , the US signs a 5-year contract directly with the country's government. The deal says: The US will still give a lot of money (hundreds of millions or billions in bigger countries). But the African country must also put in more of its own money every year to pay for medicines, hospital workers, etc. Over time, the country takes full control and pays most of the bills itself. The tricky parts that some countries dislike: -The country has to share a lot of its people's health records and disease data with the US (sometimes for many years). -The US gets to set targets and check if the country is doing a good job. -In return, the country gets help building better health systems. Why some say no (like Ghana and Zimbabwe): They worry about giving away private health information without enough control, and they feel the deal is one-sided, they give data and money, but may not get equal benefits like cheap new medicines later. It's basically a "you help pay more, we give less over time, but we get your health data" swap to make countries more independent while protecting America from future outbreaks. 32 countries including Nigeria signed happily, others rejected it.

Ghana has rejected a $109m US health deal over data protection concerns. Zimbabwe has also turned down a similar offer. The BBC’s Thomas Naadi explains why some African nations are pushing back.

An AMERICAN FRAUD SCHEME scamming its own citizens To my fellow Nigerians, As you make money, Please invest in MEDIA. We Need to change how we are perceived globally. This so called fraud scheme has 4 Americans in it 🇺🇸 Aruan Drake, 37, Atlanta, Georgia 🇺🇸 Peter Reed, 35, Oak Forest, Illinois 🇺🇸 Shaquille I. Jackson, 33, Chicago, Illinois 🇺🇸 Lon Goodman, Chicago area, owner of New Dolton Currency Exchange, laundered ~$50M The rest are also American citizens with Nigerian parents. 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Ayobami Osas Christopher, aka “Lovely Man”, 30, Lawrenceville, Georgia 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Ayorinde Emmanuel Adebayo, 35, Olympia Fields, Illinois 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Olabode Bankole, 37, Loganville, Georgia 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Chukwuemeka Evulukwu, 35, Atlanta, Georgia 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Kingsley Owusu, 37, Chicago, Illinois 🇳🇬🇺🇸 Oluwafemi Michael Awoyemi, 40, Romeoville, Illinois 11 on that list were not named probably because of their nationality and the backlash. The only core Nigerians on that list are 4 people, Which I refuse to mention. So technically. This is an AMERICAN FRAUD SCHEME targeting its own citizens You see how they use the media to always push narratives. Nigeria does not have the financial infrastructure to move 215 million dollar. Don’t let anyone gaslight you. THIS IS AN AMERICAN THING.
