This week I turned over the reins of my toy community to @TheVillage_AMZ. It’s bittersweet. What an awesome 6-7 years leading some of the absolute best people in the Amazon space! It’s been a humbling experience as the collective knowledge in the group is unmatched.

Four hours of sleep but cant help but be smiling ear to ear. A full year of strategizing truly starts to blossom today. Seeing the “we should buy 500” conversations turn into “damn we should bought 1,000”. Seeing the willpower to avoid FOMO pay off as certain leads everyone was talking about still climbing out of their 100+ seller pits. Making more money from clicking a few buttons on the repricer than I would in an entire day sourcing during the summer. Seeing the dozens and dozens of SKUs I bought when they weren’t profitable have their seller counts completely evaporated. Seeing my mortal enemy “Toy Planet” start to go out of stock some on SKUs after a year of wondering “how much do they freakin have??” (They have no idea I exist). ‘Tis the season

According to Tucker Carlson, Jesus is a liar. He’s either who he says he is or he’s a lunatic. He’s either going to fulfill all prophecies or he is a liar of all liars. Be careful who you listen to. Anyone who turns on Israel is under a severe curse.

Just tossed out some gold for Toys to Retirement paid subscribers. 39 minute video diving into some SKUs that may pay for your coffee for the year. Did some analysis on a relatively new toy line that is showing some promise, and a discontinued toy line that has some stragglers still available for some great prices.

Toys R Gold lead examples are back! I will be highlighting leads presented in Toys R Gold to show sellers the types of items we discuss on a daily basis. And no, don't rush out to try and find these. The leads presented aren't really buyable at previous pricing. Have you been investing in McFarlane Collector Editions? There have been some great quick flips and many more that are even better as buy and holds. Power Girl is a wonderful example of this. If you want more leads like this and access to the premier toy collecting community come join Toys R Gold. It is limited to 100 members and we only have a few spots available before we are full for Q4. Check us out today! toys-r-gold.thrivecart.com/toys-r-gold-3-…

Whenever I recommend LEGO sets in my newsletter, I always make sure to clarify that you should expect to hold for ONE YEAR minimum. Most of the time you can sell sooner if you want and you won't lose money, but you won't really start to see significant gains until the following Q4 and beyond. The ecosystem needs time to shake out all of the remaining supply and competitors who hold the price back because they found sets on clearance. Despite that, I like to check on how the sets I've recommended are doing around the mid point of the year. If you blindly purchased ONE unit of each set I recommended last year, you would have spent about $2,330 and currently be able to profit at least $738. Not that exciting right? But when doing these calculations, I like to stack the deck against myself. That buy cost and profit does not take into consideration: - Actual best possible buy cost that was available (I like to use the buy cost that was most accessible to everyone). For example, the Firefighter Aircraft set I calculated at $80 buy cost, but really it could have been purchased for $56. (It's selling for $160 now btw). - Discounted Gift cards (to be fair I don't factor in sales tax for this either so this likely only ends up being a few percent difference) - Cash back - LEGO VIP rewards and points - LEGO GWPs (this literally accounts for THOUSANDS of dollars of profit every year for me) - This is if you BLINDLY purchased just one unit of each. If you bought MORE of the SKUs that I strongly recommended hunting down constantly (like the Sonic Brickheadz or certain Ninjago sets) your profit skyrockets. The weaker sets I always recommend to proceed with caution so you can easily avoid them. - And as I mentioned in the beginning, NONE of these sets have matured yet, it's only been 7.5 months. Anyways, 2025 analyses will be coming soon. Excited to start stacking retiring sets for 2026 and beyond.

It was a picture of my fascia around my abdomen. Imagine having a dream while you’re awake, and your mind tells you exactly what’s wrong with you, via an image sitting in front of you, as clear as day. That’s what happened to me. This was the beginning of my true recovery, and the motivation I needed. 100s of hours of research more and I started to learn how to fix the body through the subconscious mind, how the nervous system can fix what’s wrong (and how it went wrong in the first place). This led me through healing fascial adhesions, somatic retraining, emotional management, and hydration and diet on a level I’d not known previously. You see, the hernia wasn’t the beginning. The condition I let my body get in to cause the hernia to happen was the beginning. Overworking, overtraining, stress, chronic dehydration - and many other factors, led to that moment. Then, months of rebuilding my body in ways I never imagined led me to this moment, telling my story. I gained 20lbs in the last 3 months. I can exercise again. Heat doesn’t bother me and I’m eating great. My resting heart rate stays level throughout the day. My sleep is phenomenal. I’d like to smile and tell you I’m glad it all happened, that it was a blessing, but I can’t. It was a living nightmare. The darkest period of my life by a magnitude of 1000x. We did end up going bankrupt and now I’m starting over again at 36. Sounds like a great story, but I’m not Peter Thiel or Elon Musk - I am an account manager turned online reseller. However, in many ways, I am better off than I was before. I taught myself and trained myself to stay calm and find peace while feeling worse than I’ve ever felt in my entire life. I taught myself how to sleep through anxiety, how to push through physical discomfort, and how to remain hopeful when I have no evidence it would ever improve. I learned how strong I was by becoming weaker than I’ve ever been. I quickly realized: if I could build these tools and resources in the worst time of my life, how powerful could they be if I can get better? It’s fitting to share this story on Father’s Day. Because while my kids are the only reason I would have ended it all (for the cash), they are also the reason I couldn’t. Kids need dad more than they need money. I love my kids so much. Again, I could fill books with the information I’ve learned. I hope what I share periodically could help someone with a specific issue. But the most important thing I’ve learned, that could help anyone, that I believe with 100% of my being is this: There is an answer, and there is a way, and there is hope - and you can be the one who finds it instead of giving up and resigning yourself to “the cards life dealt to you.” When I was researching, 95%+ of the people in the same place as me would just complain, say how much life sucks, how they can never be normal again. I would have given anything to find someone who was optimistic, refused to stop searching for an answer, and was encouraging others to do the same. And now, I get to be that person. 2/2

This is going to be a long one. I never thought I’d tell this story, but I guess the fact I am telling it is a good thing - it doesn’t bother me anymore. It all started…. one day in the gym I was doing decline curls when I suddenly felt a pop in my chest and felt like I was going to immediately pass out. For some reason, I just thought I had busted an aorta or something and maybe I had 3-4 minutes to live. Well, you can guess that wasn’t the case and I felt better after about 20 minutes. However, I did injure myself with what I believe is a hiatal hernia - where the stomach pushes through the diaphragm. This is where I thought my troubles began, but they really started long before this - I will explain more later. Over the coming weeks, despite not having any pain, I found I was unable to complete my workouts due to being short of breath. Any exercise that caused me to bend at the waist (hyper extensions, deadlifts, etc) would be fine, but as soon as I finished and stood up, I would nearly faint every time. Eventually I couldn’t workout at all. Eventually I couldn’t walk to my mailbox. Sparing the details, it appears this [alleged] hernia gave me dysautonomia, and soon I was barely able to do anything. Any meal would send my heart rate into the 130s for hours, with PVCs and shortness of breath. I never did see a traditional doctor for the hernia. If you Google how they diagnose and treat it, it will be obvious why. It took months for me to even come to the conclusion that that’s what cause all of this.. I dropped 30 lbs, reducing me to a disfigured looking skeleton. Laying on my back would cause me to have PVCs, making it impossible to sleep. Standing up to go to the bathroom would send my heart rate into the 130s and making me so lightheaded I would nearly pass out. The sound of my kids playing, any loud noise at all, was like electricity in my veins - actual pain that seemed unendurable. Being touched was agony. Even speaking a long sentence had me gasping for air. I had already begun to wind down my Amazon business before this - but I made a glaring error. I hadn’t established a new business or source of income yet. My acute dysautonomia happened mid-transition. This left me barely providing for my family while feeling like I was barely alive. Bills piled up, credit limits were maxed, and eventually we were facing bankruptcy. This is the darkest part of the story. I mentioned checking out - but it wasn’t due to my physical discomfort. There’s nothing noble about it, I just didn’t feel my discomfort was worth ending my life prematurely. However, I have several million in life insurance that was well past the su1cide clause - which means I could trade myself for my family being set for life. I imagined the shame I would feel, meeting my God. Knowing that I left a grieving widow and 7 kids without a father, but financially secure. Well, again you can guess that I chose a different path. I did 100s of hours of research across research papers, built AI chat models based around eastern medicine and alternative therapies, and scoured online forums to try and find any hint of what was wrong and what could heal me. If you know anything about western medicine, you can guess that: -hiatal hernias are incurable (and don’t cause symptoms, lol) -dysautonomia is incurable They can’t be fixed, only managed. I had two options - accept this view, or believe that there was a way to heal. I’d always believe western medicine was foolish to believe certain things cannot be fixed. How poetic that I had to prove to myself I truly believed that way. I could fill books with the information I uncovered - hidden in subreddits, forgotten research papers, and obscure books. I became a certified hypnotist in this time. It was during a hypnosis session my subconscious mind showed me a picture I had never seen before. I had to find out what it was. 1/2
