I think some cis women are resentful of trans women because they've been shamed and brutalised for womanhood all their life, and they see a limited view of trans womanhood around joy and celebration, and see people go to bat for trans women and think "why for them but not me".

I sure disagree with Owen on Palestine. But I appreciate that he’s willing to speak out on what’s happening to trans women in the UK, which is literally stripping them of basic civil rights and making it impossible for them to live lives with dignity.
