I have been wondering how to make the councillors of @EastRenCouncil understand the impact of their decisions around social care charges. Here is the difference in raising £1m from the employed vs disabled. Now tell me it's okay because it's happening elsewhere.

@EastRenCouncil Yes just a fabulous job of adult care when the councillors have just agreed that approximately 300 adults with LD should pay over £1,000,000 in tax for their social care from their benefits. When was the data for this report gathered?

A new report published by the Accounts Commission has praised the council's 'high-performing' services. The report outlines that the Council's services excel in many areas and praises the local authority as an example which other councils can learn from.

@EastRenCouncil I have figured out the problem. There is a ghost copy of the survey and a small button at the top that you need to click to say you want to fill it in. It's really poorly designed.

@trAACeyc Hi Tracey, 4 Cllrs sit on Cabinet, although all 18 Cllrs sit on Full Council. Any decision taken by Cabinet can be called in to Audit and Scrutiny Committee or Full Council for wider scrutiny. You can email Democratic.Services@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk for any further information.

@EastRenCouncil looking for clarification. 1. Only 4 councillors can currently vote on decisions in ERC 2. These are the same 4 councillors who are making the decisions? 3. How do residents flag up this lack of democracy? 4. How do you put in a vote of no confidence?

The @scotgov needs to take action on this. Councils like @EastRenCouncil are on the brink of joining in because everyone else is doing it!

Congratulations to 2 East Renfrewshire councillors for winning at the annual LGiU Councillor Awards. Councillor Betty Cunningham picked up the Lifetime Legend Award and Councillor Katie Pragnell won the Young Councillor of the Year prize. Well done👏

The lack of data collection IMO allows the continued lack of ambition and appalling treatment of disabled people. Great job by @InclusionEurope

Lastly, we used Canva to present the information. Again, Margot used PAS to choose the pictures, the backgrounds, font, and colours. It's a laborious process if you can't use your hands or spoken words. But I think it's worth it. Most importantly, so does Margot.

The facts about the animals were also chosen by PAS. We searched the Internet for good facts about the Indian Rhinoceros and Asiatic Lion. Margot chose the facts she liked through PAS.

Margot is 6, has Rett syndrome, and has just finished this amazing work inspired by @SteveBackshall and Deadly 60 on @cbbc. More info on how she achieved this in the comments. @RettUK
