I honestly despair at the choices some people make when picking a dog for their family. Email from someone who has bought 2 brothers🤦 (Working line Cockers) and complaining about hyper activity, lack of recall, fighting, biting and not listening. They are 15 weeks old.

Morning all I'm back on after few days break from here.Sadly tragedy hit my family and my son in law died last Sunday. Been a tough few days given all my daughter had dealt with prior to her transplant but day at a time🙏🙏 we get there🙏

It's rather concerning that I've now met yet another customer who has been rehomed a dog from the Dogs Trust that has simply been labelled as a Lurcher, but fail to mention the likelihood that the other mix of dog is a Malinois or Dutch Herder. I have seen the sighthound element in one or two, but others have been much more of a straight Mal x Herder mix. I appreciate they can never be 100% accurate, but handing people dogs like this with zero forewarning is a recipe for disaster as often they are way too much dog for the average household and owner. At best, it's being done through a lack of knowledge from staff. At worst, it's extremely underhanded, as how many of these prospective owners would happily take the dog with that prior knowledge?
