Excellent morning around Hollesley Common with Redstarts, Woodlarks, Wrens, Yellowhammers all singing and showing well before heading to the marsh for the Wood Sandpiper, Cuckoo etc.

Pleasing to see that the Turtle Doves have safely returned to their regular site in north Essex.

Good views of the staying Lesser Yellowlegs at Aldeburgh Town Marshes this morning.

Distant Tawny Pipit showing this morning at Landguard, Felixstowe in difficult conditions. A new lifer tick for me.

Some of the other colourful waders showing well at @RSPBFrampton today.

Travelling back from Yorkshire today and made the usual stop off at @RSPBFrampton where the American Golden Plover was showing well at close range.

Visiting a good friend in Yorkshire for the weekend enabled me to make my annual pilgrimage to @Bempton_Cliffs . Beautiful weather provided good views of all the expected variety of sea birds plus newly arrived migrants.

Finally the main attraction at @Bempton_Cliffs is always the Puffins, and they didn’t disappoint the crowds that turned up today.

More excellent views of the Dipper on the river Derwent on the Yorkshire moors this morning.

An excellent day on the Yorkshire moors and wolds produced a full range of upland birds including Dipper, Red Grouse, Wheatear & Meadow Pipit.

Pleased to find a Bridled Guillemot amongst the colony on the cliffs at @Bempton_Cliffs today.

Always good to see the colony of Tree Sparrows doing well at @Bempton_Cliffs . Lots of evidence of nesting activity today.

The Iberian Chiffchaff was showing really well and singing constantly on Westleton Heath early this morning.

Other birds on the heath this morning included Dartford Warblers and Whitethroats.
