Fetal 3VT is an excellent plane to assess for arch sidedness! Use of color Doppler makes it even easier to recognize the abnormal “U” sign seen in this case demonstrating a right aortic arch. #fetalecho #loveultrasound #mfm

Can’t get enough of this first trimester heart! 13 wks transabdominal 4CV using micro vascular imaging - #GE slow flow. pulmonary veins!! 🤩🤩 Remember don’t be fooled with the color maps - slow flow does not get you directional info! #mfm #sonographer #fetal

@MFMSperling Actually nothing. It’s the color mapping - does not indicate direction of flow so a little deceiving. You can change the mapping to be all one color to avoid the confusion.

I have to admit - this kind of blew my mind. 13 weeks - 3VT transabdominal imaging with micro vascular imaging technology- slow flow. Disadvantages- no directional info. Advantages- well defined vessel borders to see proportions. #mfm #voluson #loveultrasound #fetalheart
