You may not understand it now, it may not make sense yet, but one day, you’ll see it was a necessary step to reach your destiny. It looked like a setback, but really, it was a setup.

Keep doing great things. Keep being a person of excellence. Keep stretching. Keep dreaming. The naysayers can’t stop your purpose. The negative chatter is just noise trying to get you distracted. Don’t take that bait. Stay focused and leave your reputation in God’s hands.

The negative things people say and do can be hurtful, but when you put your reputation in God’s hands, there’s freedom. You can rest, you can stay in peace, knowing that God is your defender, knowing that He’s in charge of your reputation.

If you’re praying and then worrying, asking God again and again, stressed out, then you didn’t really receive it. The Scripture says, “Those who have believed enter into rest.” When you receive it by faith, you don’t live uptight. It’s in God’s hands.

We don’t have to live in fear: fear of the past, fear of the future, worried about what we’re up against. The enemy of this world may come, but we know he has no power over us. He’s been dethroned. Don’t let fear keep you from becoming who you were created to be.
