@FadiZeidan You have it upside down. Focusing on psychology will make it worse. The only way to overcome emotionbased decisions is to take emotionless decisions. You only arrive at that point by having a statistical based approach. Anything else wont make the cut.

If I knew it was this easy to fix my daytrading psychology, I would have done it years ago 🤦‍♂️ Ok so I spent a year working with a psychologist trying all kinds of techniques. This year, I made the decision to dedicate full year to my trading psychology to solve it once and for all. My main problem was staying mindful to follow the process without losing control and making stupid mistakes and getting emotional about it. i built an AI model to guide me and hold me accountable. It is a system with steps to do in the morning, before and after trading, daily and weekly reviews etc. it walks me through it every day. I’ve been following it for a month now, not a single incident or trigger *yet*. I’m sure I will get some soon, the goal is to decrease not completely eliminate them. What stands out to me is how calm I am about it. My model says it will take about 3 months to make it a consistent habit so lots of room to improve. I am sticking to my 1 year no trade rule (day trades, I swing trade for a living) regardless how well I do. Just a discipline thing for me personally. I think most people focus on trading when they should be focusing on their psychology. Trading is simple, psychology makes it feel complicated.

@trader_andre The consistency rule works on realized profits per day. So if you hold a trade for 3 days and close it all at once, the full $3,000 counts as one trading day, the day you actually close it. Nothing is split across the days you were holding it.

Why is Gold down 6.5% today? Been out of metals for a bit not too sure.

@CoachDBA Real number is something around 400k. 400k -> 1mill went very fast and it was 100% bought, I remember seeing it myself.

This is interesting.. A youtube channel with over 1 million subscribers. So why would a channel that went from 500k to subscribers to over 1 million in months be performing even MUCH lower than the low end performance? About 3k per video.... Thats less than 0.5%. 🤷‍♂️

BIGGEST BUBBLE BUST I do not know what pin, what event will pop the biggest bubbles in histor. What ever the event, the pin is near. It’s not IF. It’s WHEN. When the bubbles go bust I predict gold will hit $35,000 an ounce one year after the gold bubble goes pop.. I predict silver to hit $200 an ounce a year after the bust. I predict Bitcoin will hit $ 750,000 a coin a year after the crash. And i predict Ethereum to be $95000 a year after crash. What do you think prices will be a year after the next GFC? @traderkane I saw some lifelong oil trader talking about how even he doesn't trade oil right now because the bid/ask spread is so crazy it's impossible to trade it safely. It's more gambling right now with oil.

Oil has absolutely caved my trading in this week, slippage being the biggest killer tbh
