The appropriate response to homosexuality as such within the Church—I leave secondary problems to the side—requires a recovery of actual pastoral care for homosexual persons, which ultimately requires pastoral guidance toward renunciation. All the hooting and hollering about whether such-and-such a person is associated with such-and-such a homosexual, or whether we are sufficiently kind and welcoming, is ultimately entirely beside the point. Unless the first thing happens, none of the rest of it matters. Why? Because we aren't a social club, and we don't welcome and correct the people of God for the sake of social reasons.

I mean that's part of inculturation. Again, I'm more open to inculturation than a lot of people in these spheres: both the Zaire rite and the ordinariate rite are inculturations, but the problem with all these little native rites for the most part is a lack of understanding of what culture is. It would be as if the ordinariate rite was designed around having people in top hats process in with a banner of King Henry VIX and bowls of bangers and mash. What are we doing and why are we pretending that's important and at the liturgy?

@ChudThomist I might know what you mean. Since the soul and body are tied together in Catholic theology, trans people cannot become the other sex after the resurrection of the body. Hence, they need to rid themselves of their gender identity disorder. But the question is: How?

My main issue with nativist Masses is not the loincloths or the non-European behavior, but that every nativist Mass is not only an overloading of the liturgy with culture, but also usually a museum-reconstruction piece that has little or nothing to do with actual native life. Indeed, nativism almost entirely resembles late-nineteenth-century European philosophy in its thought, together with arbitrary, agglomerated European reconstructions from the same era, far more than it resembles any living or historical native practices drawn from actual accounts of native life. Its underlying purpose has always ultimately been to make native identity operate as a kind of political sleeper cell within society, producing public demands that are invariably European-leftist in character and have little or nothing to do with the actual good of native peoples.
