Even more companies say these are serious threats.
The gap between what’s happening and how we verify candidates is getting bigger.

AI is taking over hiring but trust hasn’t caught up.
87% of companies now use AI in recruitment (99% of Fortune 500).
65% of recruiters actively rely on it.
93% plan to increase usage in 2026.
Yet only 26% of job candidates trust AI to evaluate them fairly.
The adoption is massive. The trust gap is real.

@bluelivesmtr @RepWoolford If someone can apply for benefits under a fake identity and get approved, that points to a serious verification gap.

AI hiring fraud is accelerating....
50% of businesses have already encountered AI deepfake fraud.
17% of hiring managers say they’ve faced a deepfake candidate.
~60% report fraud losses increasing since 2024.
And 72% of leaders now rank AI-enabled fraud as a top threat.
Traditional hiring checks are quickly losing ground to GenAI scams.

English

Hiring fraud is quietly becoming a real business risk.
63% of companies have already updated hiring protocols because of AI-driven fraud.
65% have had to train HR teams to detect it.
70% of managers say the financial risk is still underestimated.
Yet only 19% are confident their current process actually catches it.
As resumes become easier to fake and AI tools get better, companies are realizing hiring verification has to evolve too.

@RepBoebert Election integrity depends on strong verification, transparent processes, and consistent enforcement of the law. If fraud occurs it should be investigated and prosecuted, but public trust comes from evidence and clear safeguards that protect every legitimate vote.

@nypost @mirandadevine If hundreds of millions in fraud were uncovered, the details matter. Large public programs will always attract abuse. The key question is whether oversight finds it and fixes the system before it spreads.

SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler sat down with @mirandadevine on the latest episode of "Pod Force One" and shared details about the hundreds of millions of dollars of fraud she’s uncovered in California and Minnesota. Subscribe here: trib.al/Dg3XA9i

MIND BLOWN: THIS is how bad the fraud is in Democrat-run states!
Michigan Rep. @RepWoolford testified under oath that he used a fake name and Gov. Gretchen Whitmer’s address to apply for state benefits.
And...wait for it.... turns out he was approved without being asked for a Social Security number or alien ID.
By the way, this comes the state faces millions of dollars in suspected fraud in state assistance programs.
REPOST for exposure!

@zerohedge When a program the size of New York’s Medicaid system faces fraud allegations, the scale matters. Tens of billions in spending means even small abuse rates can cost huge amounts.

@CBSNews When hundreds of hospice companies appear in a tiny geographic area, it’s a red flag for systemic billing abuse.
English

CALIFORNIA HOSPICE FRAUD: There's a stretch in Los Angeles with 500 registered hospice companies within just three miles of each other. And 89 in a single building. But when we visited, we found empty offices, piled-up mail, and phone lines dead.
Watch CBS News' exclusive investigation into the fraud that's costing taxpayers hundreds of millions of dollars. #losangeles #la

@DerrickEvans4WV If fraud exists in major public programs, it should be investigated and addressed regardless of politics. Oversight and enforcement should be consistent across administrations. The focus should be on evidence, transparency, and protecting taxpayer funds.
English

@BarefootStudent That’s what happens when industries shift faster than career paths. Automation, layoffs, and cost pressures are pushing people to rethink long term stability. The labor market is getting more fluid whether people want it or not.
English

@EricLDaugh If there are fraud cases, investigate them fully and prosecute anyone responsible. Fraud is a crime regardless of who commits it. Accountability should target the individuals and networks involved, not entire communities.
English

@unusual_whales White collar hiring is tightening fast. Fewer openings per employee means competition rises and mobility slows. The labor market is shifting from expansion to consolidation.
English

@barkmeta Gen Z is dealing with a very different economic structure. Higher housing costs, heavier debt loads, and a more automated job market create pressure earlier in life. The stress isn’t imaginary. The system around them changed.
