What would happen if AI became good enough to mimic the exact communication style of any human being and then image and video generation became indistinguishable from real life and then an entire town of people was disappeared but their social media continued to run and they continued to talk with everyone as normal and it was entirely undetectable they had vanished unless you could physically confirm their location or absence from said location but the government restricted movement so you could never actually confirm
