Saskatchewan’s EMS system is in crisis. Paramedics are often stuck on offload delays at hospitals for 6+ hours with sometimes 5-6 patients waiting for an ER bed that might never come. Every time you drive by the Pasqua or the General in Regina, you’ll see upwards of 8 ambulances.

@codyjordison Well, still in the trailer and didn’t need to evacuate - truck was ready though. Storm was windy at first but then just a little light hail followed by heavy rain for about 15 minutes. One hell of a light show though.

This is so sad. Imagine the time when a kid could walk down the block to buy a toy with some birthday money. Now they are basically required to have an adult drive them across town for the same thing. Our cities would be better if we could walk to where we shop.

Yee Toy Confectionery on Victoria Ave. has been demolished. The building dated back to an era when people shopped at small neighbourhood corner stores that were within walking distance of their homes.
