Yes, it's legit. Balenciaga sells the "Trash Bag Large Pouch" (or similar "Trash Pouch") for $1,790. It's a real product from their avant-garde line, mimicking a disposable plastic bag in premium materials—first dropped in 2022 and still viral in new colors like this yellow version.

@dom_lucre She was trying to make the point that if a White person wearing Blackface is deemed racist, then trans women should be deemed sexist because they're wearing 'Womanface' (as some people say). Does she have a point?

@queenie4rmnola This isn't about offending Black people. I think she's attempting to make the point that if a White person wearing Blackface is deemed offensive, then a man wearing 'Womanface' (as some say) should also be deemed offensive. Does she have a point?

Today I$rael tried to kill me in a targeted airstrike in southern Lebanon as I was reporting on was the targeting of bridges and the forced displacement of 1 million people, an ethnic cleansing operation on a larger scale than the Nakba I have absolutely no doubt that this was deliberate. Despite claims there were no warnings ahead of the strike and no notifications sent to the Lebanese Army who allowed us to film As we have seen in Gaza they want to silence journalists who document and report their war crimes It is the western powers who provide political and military support for I$rael, arming it to the teeth to carry out genocide in Gaza and ethnic cleansing here in Lebanon. They are not simply complicit, but active participants and should be held accountable for their actions. But if I$rael thinks today’s strike will silence us and keep us out of the field they are very, very mistaken

• "Americans are absolutely the TARGET AUDIENCE for American films."- I'm saying that Americans aren't the ONLY target market. Obviously American films target Americans, but they also targeted the rest of the globe. If you sincerely think otherwise, then you don't fully understand American capitalism. American movies aren't ONLY targeted at Americans, just like McDonald's, Air Jordans, the WWE, Twitter/Facebook (etc) aren't ONLY targeted at Americans. 😂 • "What is your gripe about us wanting to see ourselves portrayed authentically?"- I have no gripe with it whatsoever. My gripe is the hypocrisy. You have no issue with Americans (Black or otherwise) playing non-Americans on screen, such as Denzel Washington playing Hannibal Barca (pic attached), yet when it's the other way around suddenly it's a problem. 😑

Again, you're proving my point regarding your small-minded world view. I already showed you the British census . . . I'm talking about what's deemed "Black" outside of the USA, not how African and Caribbean immigrants in the USA are perceived. What the USA calls football (🏈) and what the world calls football (⚽), are different, correct? What some Americans call people from Africa/the Caribbean, isn't necessarily the same as the rest of the world . . . Now, if you STILL don't get it, then I'm done. 👍🏿

False. That's your small minded world view. You seem to think that everyone's personal real-life experiences revolve around Americans. I guarantee you that when people in Britain think about "Black people", they're thinking about the Black guy next door, not "Black Americans". Africa isn't a race, it's a continent. The Caribbean isn't a race, it's a region. Venezuelans are Caribbean, but they're not Black. Moroccans are African, but they're not Black. Get it?

Great acting is great acting. 💯 An example of which is 12 Years a Slave, a movie that was directed by a Black Brit (Steve McQueen) and featured outstanding performances from Chiwetel Ejiofor, Lupita Nyong'o and Michael Fassbender, none of whom are American. I doubt even YOU can deny the quality of the acting/the production values nor the believability of the characters. 🤓

This has gone down a strawman path - I didn't specify that I was talking solely about Black American biopics as you've indicated in various replies. Sinners isn't a biopic and that's the film that Budden initially referenced when he made his point. I'm talking about any Black American roles fictional or otherwise. I cited The Last King of Scotland and Invictus simply because they were the first two movies that came to mind, not because they're biopics. You've mentioned Daniel Kaluuya's portrayal of Fred Hampton (in a different reply) which you didn't like. Fair enough, that's your opinion, but he won an academy award for it (similar to how Michael B. Jordan did for Sinners) and his performance was highly rated by many, so clearly people disagree with you. Aside from that Kaluuya has played other quality roles like Get Out which is a cult classic. But even if we all agreed that Kaluuya's performance as Fred was TERRIBLE, what does that mean exactly? I think that Morgan Freeman was terrible as Nelson Mandela, so does that mean that no Black American should ever play a notable Black African/non-Black American figure again??? Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler are making a movie about Mansa Musa (pic attached), so should Black Americans NOT be considered for any roles in that movie??? 🧐 Would it be a "sick thing to want to inflict on others", or is it only ok if Black Americans do it??? 🧐
