@MotherJones The Abortion Pill manufacturers are seeking Supreme Court approval for a rule change that would allow telemedicine prescriptions and mail delivery of mifepristone. This could drastically disrupt access across the US, especially in the South. #AbortionPill #Telemedicine

Abortion pill manufacturers have asked the Supreme Court to reinstate an FDA rule allowing mifepristone to be prescribed by telemedicine and sent through the mail. The case could drastically disrupt access across the US but especially in the South. motherjones.com/politics/2026/…

Amazing how the same people who screamed “return abortion to the states!” are perfectly fine with the 5th Circuit Court of Louisiana imposing nationwide restrictions on mifepristone.

@Trauma_Sessions @TheAtlantic @AdamSerwer America was never white it only became that cause of our ancestors that moved from Europe and we treated blacks and other minorities as slaves as that is something Britian did long before setting foot on america soil

@TheAtlantic @AdamSerwer And? What’s wrong with that? America isn’t a DEI Experiment. It’s our home. It’s time for people to get used to that. China for the Chinese. Israel for the Jews. America for Whites.

“What the Roberts Court is making possible,” @AdamSerwer argues, “is a country where white people can maintain their political dominance at the expense of Americans who are not white.” He examines what to expect following the Voting Rights Act ruling: theatlantic.com/ideas/2026/04/…

@WalshFreedom which also raises the question on how we view icons and symbols/icons do we forever more associate that particular skull and crossbones to a organization associated with hitler take myself i never heard or remembered them let alone using that type of skull and crossbone?

@WalshFreedom One could also say history books in high school don't teach what symbols bad people or organizations use or even if there mentioned in the first place if I was looking at a book of skull and crossbone tattoos I also wouldn't have known it so does that make me a Nazi too?

On a show earlier, I was asked whether I’d support Graham Platner. I said No. Not that I matter, but when I became a Democrat 11 months ago, I said the Dem tent must be big enough for Zohran Mamdani & Joe Walsh. And I still believe that. But there’s no tent big enough for me & Graham Platner. And I say that knowing most Dem voters disagree with me. But for me, Platner is a dishonest antisemite who’s lied about, and who’s never owned up to, not just his Nazi tattoo, but all the horrible things he’s said about Jews, Cops, rural whites, women, blacks, rape victims, gays, and so many more people & groups of people. Everyone (except Trump) is capable of changing, but Platner gives zero indication he has changed. I get that for most Dems it’s all about winning. I agree winning is important, but we all have our own personal red lines as well. If I lived in Maine, of course I wouldn’t vote for Susan Collins. But I wouldn’t vote for Platner either.

@Costello4Senate Which also raises another question are we ever able to repurpose icons like I didn't know it was tied to the Nazi to me the only thing I and many know is Hitler ,gas chambers and Anne Frank not some skull and crossbone symbol that someone In Hitlers circle used

I get the Platner camp’s logic in withdrawing from the 5 scheduled debates, yet this move cuts short important policy discussions and conversations and shortchanges Maine voters, most of whom haven’t fully focused on June’s primary election. I hope he’ll reconsider #MEpolitics

Democrats made Al Franken resign over some flimsy allegations and a bad joke because they were worried about alienating women. Now, we’ve got a Senate candidate with a literal Nazi tattoo who’s into antisemitic conspiracy theories no one seems to give a shit. Maybe we’ll beat Susan Colins, but at what cost? All we’re doing is proving the right wing is correct. Jews are no longer safe in our party. We have no excuse to not have found a different candidate.

@AlexanderMcCoy4 @RachelAzzara But also Collins pitch has ran out of gas right now she is caught between the maga go all one way and no room for deviation and the independence who have soured on trump and maga and her claim of independence is extremely thin she doesn't have much to show for that

As someone who campaigned in Maine in 2020 for Sara Gideon, I don’t actually think Susan Collins is particularly hard to beat this year. A lot of people in Maine voted for Collins because they expected Biden to win the White House & wanted a check. Trump is currently President.

@Jay_McGill94 Stalwart Dem here….i would vote for Collins in a heartbeat to defeat a Nazi. No hesitation & no regrets. There is no excuse and there is nothing he could add. His ink and his 20 year commitment to it says enough. He is gonna lose and deserves to lose.

Jay McGill Says Punch Left and Hold The Center 🫏
By nominating Platner, there is a slight possibility that moderate Democrats or mainstream Democratic Party voters stay home (or even vote for Collins). I'm almost sure that's what happened in the 2020 US Senate race in Maine.
