Unpopular opinion: Most crypto projects are fundable but not investable. Fundable: you have a good narrative, decent timing, and enough hype to get VCs to wire money. That bar is lower than people think Investable: there's a real path to revenue or value that compounds over time. That bar is higher than people want to admit I've watched companies raise millions on narrative alone with a great pitch and great timing. But when the market turned and they needed to raise again, nobody picked up the phone The VCs who funded them were chasing trends whereas the strategics who passed were waiting for proof of a real business If you're building right now, ask yourself which one you're optimizing for, that answer will determine how you spend the next 18 months

After reading this, I was a bit conflicted. I love all things ETH, and I have also been building on base. That said, I can't really disagree with this article. Solana has been MUCH more welcoming so far (at least to me anyways). #salute
