Tigers fans have every right to be frustrated with how this season has gone. The injuries, the defense, the inconsistency, all fair criticism.
But some of the reactions lately act like this organization is what it was from 1995-2004 or 2015-2021
Detroit literally made the postseason last year and has multiple young players either already in the majors or close to it. The expectations changed because the expectations were finally raised again.
Criticize the roster construction. Criticize the defense. Criticize the lack of depth. But pretending there’s “nothing here” is just ignoring reality.
It’s May, but can’t be measured on this damn app. It’s always some sort of dire straits. Good damn lord.

@nestapendragon I definitely play hideaway lands in B2/3. I had the discover lands at some point in a couple builds but at 5 mana its just too slow for a random 1-4 drop imo.

@jeremyausmus I think there's another issue that no one is really talking about, you're gonna get people that have no nuance in their ratings. A dealer that is kind of slow will get rated a 1, the next dealer that doesnt know how to deal plo will also get a 1.

I saw a lot of negative comments about the new dealer rating system at WSOP this year. It's true we don't know what exactly they will do with this data, but I'd think they are creating it to do something actionable. The argument of players rating dealers bad because they dealt them a cooler are going to be very few and far between imo. Also, those will be spread amongst all dealers and should mostly even out.
The bigger problem tho is being able to obtain enough high quality dealers. For this, I'd assume the pay has to increase and/or the training improved. I've been saying for 10+ years how much better the dealers are when you are outside of the US. Seems to be a tough problem to solve but hopefully they find a way. Some US venues have figured it out, obviously on a much smaller scale.
So will the rating system solve all of the WSOP dealer problems? No. Is it a step in the right direction? I think so.

This game is going to bankrupt Rockstar. It has to sell roughly 13 million copies (at $80/each) just to break even. The rising cost in computer hardware has shrunk the potential market of those who even have the necessary specs to play it, and the writing is probably garbage.
