I know my decision on Afghanistan will be criticized. But I would rather take all that criticism than pass this responsibility on to yet another president. It’s the right one for our people, for the brave servicemembers who risk their lives serving our nation, and for America.

American troops cannot — and should not — be fighting and dying in a war that Afghan forces are by and large not willing to fight and die in themselves.

@kuow 80,000 cases: announcing this vague statistic is useless at best. People may be diagnosed but then they recover (or don't) and so are no longer infected. Or are you saying it is incurable like AIDS? This statistic is alarming with no meaning.

@mgodoyh If your breath goes around the edges of the mask, how it is more effective than a mask with a valve? Please help me understand. Your story does not help us know what to do. If breath is not filtered through the material but forced around the edges, same as valve?

@mgodoyh The air goes around the mask!!!!!!!! Same as masks with a valve! If you put *tissue paper* in a cloth mask, the air goes around the edges!!! Just a cotton cloth mask with two layers forces the air up into my glasses causing fog, so I know the air is NOT BEING FILTERED.
