Bubba Day grew up in rural Kearney, Nebraska, with the dream of one day pitching in the College World Series. His father, Damon Day, was a coach of over 20 years for the local college team, but when the University of Nebraska Kearney program was cut, it was unclear what @BubbaDay2027's future of pitching in college might look like. This is the story of a kid from small-town America taking a leap of faith, building a relationship deeper than coaching, and getting one step closer to his ultimate goal of pitching in Omaha. Congrats to the newly converted pitcher, Mason Dinesen, on signing with the @Orioles ✍️⁠ ⁠ Dinesen spent the last two years in the White Sox org as a shortstop.
