@EVERALDATLARGE Everald, they lost their way back in 1995 when the opp. of online and physical store was theirs to leverage. They went online at launch of Windows 95, but soon after rejected the online world and believed that the only way people would shop would be as it had been for decades.

So #DavidJones has been sold for 100 million dollars. Previous buyer paid 2 billion. Was once a giant in #Retail trade in Australia. Sad that a legend can fall so easily but it is likely that no department store anywhere in world will survive as boutique shops take over.

@JohnQuiggin @ProfRayWills Absolutely. As a car replacement for those in the city, essential. With extended range and comfort I would rather ride than drive. Add in public transport and we have a real winner. Tomorrow off to Abbotsford ride to CQ from inner east then ferry and ride home. Easy and V good

First 100km on electric bike. Would recommend. Often replaces trips I would have taken car for. Tiny battery but makes hills and keeping ahead of traffic a lot easier.

@BaldingPhillip Think the roof just covers the seats, not the whole stadium. Is is a closing roof?

I ride my bike past the new Allianz stadium twice a day $800m rebuild for steeper seats, toilets, a roof and disability access Old one barely saw its 4th decade, and this wont at all But hopefully next time is just a renovation

@rgloveroz @smh Richard, we use our mother's wedding cutlery daily in the kitchen. We have purchased unwanted (and unused) wedding cutlery sets online and our kids do the same. Much nicer to use than lesser kitchen cutlery. Good piece! Thanks!

@FionaBike @Bowenchris Love a good ‘Bakfiets’! Separate bike paths, acceptance that these can replace 2nd car (at minimum) and general acceptance of different mobility modes and we might look like Denmark and others in Europe in 20 years. Need to start now for better future.
