You are still paying firstfruit in this big 2026 Dem dey whine you oo. You don’t give to be blessed, you give because you are blessed. Jesus is the first fruit But Christ has indeed been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep. 1 Corinthians 15:20

I have a golden rule in all our services: when the power of the Holy Spirit is on the move and we have diverse kinds of manifestations, keep the camera away from those manifesting. Those of us in the meeting will understand what is going on, but when you show it to the public without context, it always looks ridiculous and too dramatic for consumption. Of course, some of our people in the diaspora complained because they wanted to see what was going on, but I insisted cameras must be kept off people because of public ridicule.

My barber moved to a new location two weeks ago and I tracked him there today. While he was cutting my hair, he was getting calls from customers asking where he was and for directions to the new place. Two even came while I was still there, and we were all joking about the whole move. I found out one of them drives from GRA to NTA Road to cut his hair, and even when our barber changed location, he still drove down to the new place. When men talk about the lengths they for to maintain one barber, women think it's a joke😂😂

Love for a partner is not unconditional. “But it should be! You should stand by them no matter what!” Oh? What if they cheat? What if they abuse you? What if they’re living a separate life you don’t know about? What if they lied about fundamental parts of themselves? What if you constantly fight? What if they don’t want the same things as you? What if they…you get it. I believe that we get into a lot of trouble if we adopt the mindset that relationships should endure literally anything. This can EASILY keep us in negative, toxic, abusive, or harmful relationships for no other reason but completely blind and irrational levels of commitment. Yes, you should be fully dedicated to your partner with every fiber of your being, but they must earn this dedication, just as you must in return. If someone betrays your trust, your wellbeing, your loyalty, or your love…then they lose the right to maintain it. That’s how it works. We have to earn the right to have someone in our lives. We should never take them for granted, never make them feel undervalued or overlooked. Remember: Your wellbeing is paramount, no matter how much you love someone. If the person you’re with is taking away from the quality of your life more than they’re adding to it, then you need to seriously reflect on whether or not they actually deserve to be in your life.

What Does He Know About You? When someone forgets important details about your life, it shows they don’t really care about you. They make up excuses about why they forgot to send you a text on your birthday or brush off the fact that they don’t remember stories you’ve told them, but deep down, their lack of effort signals a lack of genuine interest. It might seem like a guy cares about you when he brings you flowers, but despite you telling him a few different times that you’re allergic to them, he just keeps bringing them. These are the moments that should tell you someone doesn’t care about you. In fact, they know nothing about you! If people’s actions don’t align with their words, it shines a light on how ambivalent they really feel. Now is the time to stop making excuses.

An Encouragement to the singles Say This Out Loud “They must earn their spot in my life, too.” I cannot tell you how many people I’ve coached who’ve completely left the next steps in a relationship up to the other person. “I’ll see what they think.” “They’re going to let me know if they want to see me again.” We chase, chase, chase, frantically trying to make sure that we are consistently winning over the heart of our new love interest, trying hard enough, being good enough, loving them in all of the right ways… Sound familiar? Now, don’t get me wrong: If both people are equally putting in the work to win each other over, then you’ve got a solid foundation of effort and affection. However, if you always find yourself being the pursuer, you might need a reminder that you are worthy of their effort, too. Your time is valuable, too. You are deserving of their love, too. They need to “earn” their spot in your life, too. If the scale is tipped too far in either direction when it comes to perceived value or worthiness, someone will always end up feeling overstretched and underappreciated…yet, this could prompt them to continue trying even harder, because they don’t feel like they’re doing enough to get the other person’s affection yet. Remember, great relationships aren’t about give and take, they’re about give and give.

An Encouragement for The Singles Say This Out Loud “My options are limitless.” There are nearly 8 billion people in the world. Yet, we convince ourselves that “the one” must be right here in our own little hometown, maybe even went to the same school as us, or maybe our parents grew up together… Listen, when these situations work out, it’s warm and fuzzy and romantic and Hallmarky. However, the world is big…nay, it’s gigantic. There are endless cultures, mindsets, perspectives, interests, passions, hobbies, cities, countries, religions, philosophies… Every single person you’ll ever meet has a unique combination of these ingredients, and more. If you don’t find love right here at home, that’s okay…good, even, as it gives you an opportunity to open your mind (and heart) to a huge variety of people in order to figure out who and what is right for you.

An Encouragement for the Singles Say This Out Loud “My feelings and opinions matter.” Have you ever found yourself smiling and nodding along on a date as someone rattles off a series of thoughts or opinions as if they’re giving a dissertation? Maybe you went on a 2nd date with this person. Or, a 3rd. Or, maybe you’ve been dating them for awhile. I wonder, how often have they stopped and asked about your opinions? How often do they consider or explore your feelings? Even more so, how often have you stepped up and expressed these feelings even having not been asked? I think a lot of people (this goes for both men and women) tend to take a backseat when it comes to the dating process. They let the other person talk and talk, they hold back on their own opinions, they try to prevent conflict or rocking the boat. As a result, they never get really heard in the relationship. They don’t feel truly seen, or valued, or respected…because their partner doesn’t really know what they (you) even stand for. It’s time to shift that narrative. If you fundamentally disagree with someone on a topic that is going to create real conflict or strife down the road, it’s best to discuss it now before you get too deep into the relationship. Does that mean you should always search for arguments or seek ways to be difficult? Of course not…but it does mean that you need to recognize your opinions are just as valid as theirs.

“My boundaries are important and must be respected.” Your emotional boundaries are the standards you set for the treatment you accept from others, and also, from yourself. They’re the guidelines you hold for the things you’re comfortable with, the pace you’re comfortable with, the actions you’re comfortable with… …or, not. Boundaries can be tricky because, well, people have no idea what they are unless we communicate them. Someone could easily overstep a boundary or do something to make you uncomfortable without realizing it. This raises the question of self-respect: Are you willing to create a potentially uncomfortable situation in order to maintain your own boundaries? The answer should, without hesitation, be yes. Now, don’t get me wrong: I’m not talking about being harsh or abrasive or mean for no reason. I’m not talking about demanding certain actions from other people. I’m not talking about looking for reasons to fight, argue, or to be offended. What I am talking about is understanding what your boundaries are, what type of treatment you deserve and are comfortable with, and expressing them as such when they’re encroached upon. If someone isn’t willing to respect the boundaries you’ve set for yourself, they don’t deserve your emotional investment.

An encouragement for the singles Say this out loud “I am clear on my wants and needs.” Wants vs. Needs. Do you know what you want in a relationship or partner? Great! Do you know why you want those things? For many, this question is a bit blurrier. I’ll give you an example: One of my brothers in Christ wanted his wife to spend less time on her phone when they were together. That’s what he wanted. What he needed was more connection, communication, presence with and from his wife. This was the need he was looking to fill, which then opened up more ways to achieve it. Perhaps they agree on a time to put their phones away at night, or no phones during dinner, or on dates, or…something in order to create more presence between them. The point is this: Knowing what you “want” isn’t enough, because you might get it, but find that it didn’t really check the box. The key is figuring out the need underneath the want, and then exploring the ways you can meet it.

An Encouragement For the Singles Say This Out Loud “I DESERVE love.” I think at the basis of it all, this is what it really comes down to. It doesn’t matter how much money you make, how successful you become, how much power or authority you wield…feeling and knowing that you are deserving of someone’s love and affection is a completely different realization. You already know this, because you have excelled to stratospheric heights in your career, yet, find yourself lost and confused when it comes to dating. Why? I believe it’s because we’ve not fully done the work to prove ourselves to ourselves when it comes to love. Think about it: At work, you set goals, develop the necessary skills, and then you achieve those goals. You do the same thing in your health and fitness. You do the same thing with hobbies. Yet, with relationships, you’ve been told for years that “the right person will come along” if you “just keep doing what you’re doing.” You and I both know this is bullshit. If you didn’t know before, you know now. The truth is that you need to find the worth and value within yourself, first. You need to understand that your value is intrinsic as a human being and is not defined nor influenced by external sources. It’s not dependent on your income. It’s not dependent on your appearance. It’s not dependent on your weight, or social status, or race, or sexual orientation. None of this affects your worthiness of love. Until you truly internalize and understand this, though, you’ll always be operating from the passenger seat of life, secretly thinking that you’re not ready to get into the driver’s seat. Like anything else, though, the most important lessons are learned by experience. Get out into the world. Meet people. Fall on your face. Experience the things you don’t want. Put in the time and effort to define the things you do want. Take action first, and the confidence will build over time. Most of all: Remember that it’s your decision who to give your heart, time, energy, and body to. Stop giving your most valuable assets to people who haven’t proven that they deserve you.

An Encouragement To The Singles Say This Out Loud "I am not desperate" Some people come into your life with a predetermination to make you marry them on their terms, regardless of what works for you A single father starts to date a lady. He told her he has children and would love to be in his children's lives. The lady said she does not mind dating a single father, but he should not be in the lives of his children. "Just send them money and let their mother raise them; I don't like children, and I don't want them around" The single father asked me what he should do to convince the lady to stay with him and accept his children I told him not to be desperate She is not the right woman for him When the right woman comes, his "baggage" will become her blessings. If he or she begins to give you conditions that would make you feel like a fish out of water in the relationship, staying in it is desperation, not love.

Habits Singles Must Develop Before Getting Married Spend Less Than You Earn This is the foundation of financial success. No matter how much you earn, spending everything leaves nothing to invest or save. Many high-income earners struggle financially because their lifestyle grows as fast as their income. In contrast, many wealthy individuals maintain disciplined spending habits even after their earnings increase. Living below your means creates the gap between income and expenses where wealth begins.

Habits Singles Must Develop Before Getting Married Pay Yourself First Most people save whatever money is left at the end of the month. Unfortunately, there is often nothing left. Instead, make saving automatic. Set aside a percentage of every paycheck before paying bills or making purchases. Even saving 10–20% consistently can create significant wealth over time. Treat your savings like a non-negotiable monthly bill.

Habits Singles Must Develop Before Getting Married Invest Consistently Saving protects your money. Investing helps it grow. Whether you choose index funds, retirement accounts, mutual funds, or diversified portfolios, regular investing allows compound growth to work in your favor. You don't need to wait until you have a large amount. Small investments made consistently often outperform large investments made occasionally.

Habits Singles Must Develop Before Getting Married Avoid Lifestyle Inflation One of the biggest financial traps is upgrading your lifestyle every time your income increases. A bigger salary often leads to a bigger house, newer car, expensive vacations, and higher monthly expenses. Instead, keep your lifestyle relatively stable while increasing your investments. Let your assets grow faster than your spending.
