The Constitution of Zimbabwe, No. 20 of 2013 is not decorative. It is the supreme law, and it establishes the Defence Forces under a clear legal framework governed by the Defence Act:Chapter 11:02. That law is explicit, members of the Defence Forces are subject to military jurisdiction, including courts martial. In the reported case involving an alleged attempt on the life of Mkanya Chiwenga, the suspect, Albert Tizwa, a Military Intelligence Officer attached to the Presidential Guard in Harare, has reportedly been arrested and is being handled by the Zimbabwe Republic Police. That is not a technicality. It is a direct breach of the law. A serving military officer is not investigated at the convenience of civilian authorities. The procedure is clear, if arrested by anyone, that officer must be immediately surrendered to the Military Police and processed under military law, including appearance before a court martial. Anything outside of that is unlawful. So why is this not happening? Police Commissioner General Stephen Mutamba has a duty to uphold the law, not to reinterpret it. The continued handling of this matter by the police raises unavoidable questions about interference, selective application of justice, and the manipulation of state institutions, and this is where the political reality cannot be ignored. Under Emmerson Mnangagwa, Zimbabwe has faced persistent allegations of state overreach, erosion of institutional independence, and the use of legal processes in ways that serve power rather than justice. Whether in elections, governance, or security matters, public trust has been repeatedly tested. The history of ED is littered by planting evidence and creating criminal accusations in order to eliminate what he sees as enemies, that's anyone who doesn't agree with his interests or views. Being a notorious thief and a cruel mafia that ED is,one wouldn't doubt his alleged plot to plant weapons in order to arrest VP Chiwenga and even order Chiwenga's assassination. That's how he operates as a trainee of the Rhodesians Ken Flower and the likes of Dan Stanard etc. ED is a criminal from youth and a father of lies. ED is a sadist who enjoys the suffering of others and thrives on such matters. ED is a terrible ritualist and loves shedding human blood. Those who brought him to power owes Zimbabwean people an apology. As his tottem says Shumba Murambwi, following incestuous, and an unwanted cursed lineage, ED is evil and should never have been a leader of any sort. With his Zvigananda, any day longer in office sucks Zimbabwe dry in looting and plundering. When clear legal procedures are bypassed in a case involving the military and the Vice President, it does not look like an oversight, it looks deliberate. Zimbabweans are not blind. When the law is ignored in plain sight, the natural question is, what outcome is being engineered? This is no longer just about Albert Tizwa. It is about whether the Constitution still has meaning, or whether it is applied selectively depending on political interests. The demand is simple and uncompromising, Follow the Constitution. Apply the Defence Act. Transfer the officer to the Military Police immediately. Anything less confirms the worst fears, that the rule of law is no longer the standard, but a tool. If that is the case, then every Zimbabwean has reason to be concerned about what comes next, including any attempt to stretch power beyond its constitutional limits, such as the widely contested 2030 agenda. A big fat NO to any ammendment of our Constitution, and a Mafidhi Dynasty. Albert Tizwa, Military Intelligence Officer (MIO) Presidential Guard Harare Region, who was supposed to be busy at the Independence Day celebrations in Mapisa, but instead was busy running Kubakwake’s dirty errands. Tizwa is supervised by Brig Gen Mhonda, and he was caught in Newlands carrying a bag of money coming from the offices of Kubakwake, the TEMU president. The money has been confiscated, and he is under arrest and investigation.
