@ghost_wales Newton Abbot, Devon built a hospital on a flood plain. It flooded operating theatres within days of opening.

Yesterday i drove past some fields next to the river Avon in Wiltshire I’ve driven this route for over 40 years and throughout that time during different seasons these fields have acted as a flood zone defences for when the river Avon breaks its banks. Now i see they are building houses in the literal flood zone. The people responsible for this are in charge of a huge budget but appear to have the common sense of a village idiot. No wonder it’s all Fubar.
