Lost to Grimm in Finals of Cape Town Special Championships. Was able to Sudo lock G1 to win, couldn’t conceptualize the Sudo lock fully G2 due to lack of Munki (they won the war against me w/ their Froslass). G3 my deck decided to be Froslass Munki and not be a deck. I almost brought it back, but both Hilda and Ultra Ball were prized for a Mega Froslass play. The rest of the game my deck fell apart which sucks, but that’s Pokémon. Well played to Simon, and I’m happy that they were able to receive the paid accommodations and flight to Worlds. It would’ve been nice, but I’m more than happy with my placement, and also locked up my Worlds invite this weekend! I’ll be attending events for the rest of the season, but it is VERY likely that Worlds is the next major event I’ll be playing! Time to enjoy the rest of my stay in lovely Cape Town! Shoutout to all of the South African community, the organizers, and everyone else involved for such a wonderful and welcoming event. I hope to be able to return to South Africa for future events and continue to travel the globe to play a game I love so much! I’ll post my decklist once I get a moment to recollect myself after the game 🤘

Played Zoroark to Puerto Rico this weekend. Deck was meant to be consistent and functional but was quite the opposite. Combine that with poor play on my end resulted in a poor finish. I will be better for Houston.
