There seems to be a growing number of these "atheism is miserable nonsense" posts from Christian apologists. If you want to persuade people to embrace religion, I think a more respectful engagement is more likely to bear fruit. Also, it doesn't feel very Christ-like to me.

@Philip_Goff Christians apologists can be mighty tiresome in their caricatures of those they disagree with. When I was a vicar I always felt the biggest threat to the church (being taken seriously) was the church itself. I often found more genuine Christ-likeness on the outside!
