A year to the day since I came out of hospital and thanks to the #nhs I can now say I’m one year clear of #cancer. Eternally grateful and yet still feels surreal it all happened. Look after yourselves everyone.

@Martin_Adams @flowtelic IMO plugins will help you scale. If it’s in the core platform only you / your team can edit them. The right plug-in architecture will allow others to create the plugins they need and build a community.

So does this mean I should focus on adding features to the core product of @flowtelic instead of exploring a plugin system? What are your thoughts?

In hindsight I should have picked up on some things but I put a lot down to the change due to the pandemic. I think a lot of people talk about burnout but the reality is you have to look after yourself in case, as it was with me, it turns out to be something else. Take care all.

Strange day so far - turned 40 and more importantly got the all clear from #cancer following my operation 2 weeks ago. Has been a strange & sobering 6 or so weeks and can’t believe how lucky I’ve been.

@Martin_Adams @knolleary In case you need it, we used clevercloset.co.uk/sub/87 and had a 3 drawer unit done for £550. Very pleased with it and excellent quality.

@knolleary Thanks for sharing. I’ve been thinking “can we do it ourselves”, but yes, would take a loooong time. Annoying thing for us, we need to break into the under part of the stairs first as it’s enclosed, so not even sure what we’re dealing with. Good to know we’re now alone 😆

@dalelane The LG TVs have WebOS which is actually quite nice. Nodes for NodeRED make it pretty easy to change channel etc, but also importantly to display toast notifications. It wouldn’t be the TV doing it, but you could run something in parallel to push stuff to it.
