There is an end in sight to social restrictions, but we have to survive until the vaccines are widely available. Too many people are going to needlessly die if everyone doesn’t stop congregating indoors. This is temporary - we can do this!

How have these views gotten so mainstream? What happens in the not-so-unlikely scenario that we can’t develop herd immunity needed (60-70% of the population) because of people like this? Recent poll showed that ~20% of people wouldn’t get vaccinated if/when we have one. 😩
