I was expecting my neighbor to rush out as I was locking the gate, because his flat is close to the gate . Omo, guy no come out o 😂
I was thinking he wasn’t home, but I say make I still shoot my shot. I shouted “Chairman!” like twice. Na so I hear “Bro how far na?” from inside.
I kuku paused in front of his house then told him:
“Na wah for you o. Me and you go somewhere, you just disappear like that. Because of madam abi? No wahala… me sef go soon marry.”
He said:
“No be so my guy… a lot happened.”
I replied:
“A lot happened ke? Well, I just say make I tell you my mind sha because no be so dem dey do things.”
I even do small shakara like person wey wan comot 😂
Na so he say:
“Bro abeg spare me few minutes…”
Omo… if you see as my body sweet me 😭
After all the orishirishi sacrifice I made for this gist.
I asked:
“Hope all is well?” (Normal aproko level🫢)
He said:
“Omo e be like all those private chefs dey do another thing aside cooking.”
Me:
“As how? No be to cook be their work?”
Him:
“Not that jare. You no see that one wey dey your friend side that time?”
Inside my mind:
“If you like beat around bush, you go still tell me wetin sup.”
Me:
“Leave that one jare. Woman wey wan spoil go spoil.”
He continued… saying he spoke with her in the kitchen that day. I quickly interrupted:
“Bad guy 😂 you sef wan book session abi?”
Guy give me bombastic side eye:
“You no go let me talk finish ni?”

“Ok continue.”
So he dropped the boom.
The private chef knows his wife 😭
Apparently, she hinted him about how the “job” dey run. To investigate, he lied that the private chef that came to his own house no do normal at all … despite say na fine girl.
Then he showed her his wife’s picture.
Omo… the private chef mention his wife name instantly
Guy say him shock but he hide am. He ask if na sister, the chef say no ..dem don work for one house party together before.
Then she asked him:
“Why she no do normal for you? The celebrant still book am after that event.”
At that point, even me wey think say I sabi everything shock.
To calm am down small, I said:
“Pictures fit deceive. Maybe she just resemble person wey she know.”
Guy cut me off immediately…:
“Bro I collected her number before I left.”
Me:
“So wetin you wan use her number do again?”
Na there matter bend pass.
He said yesterday he opened a new WhatsApp account, called the private chef , then told her he wants her to talk to the “other private chef” wey no shake body for him. He even claimed he’s shy, make she help talk to her on his behalf 😭

Me:
“So she truly sabi your wife?”
He say after all the talking, dem begin discuss price. Guy even change voice ask:
“What’s her offer?”
Eventually, dem agree on price and she tell am make he send address for DM.
THIS MAN SENT THE ADDRESS OF THE HOUSE WHERE HIM AND HIS WIFE DEY LIVE TOGETHER 😭😭😭
Now the private chef don dey blow his phone nonstop.
he believes his wife don find out and probably called the chef thinking na betrayal setup.
As we dey talk, madam never return house.
Guy say he no even expect am to return soon since dem never born pikin together yet.
He has already called her family members too.
Meanwhile, the friend I went to visit called me to ask if I reach house safely. Before call end, him still add:
“E be like say that private chef like you o 😂 she dey ask for your number.”
I quickly shout:
“Abeg no give am o! E don sup for here already!” 😭😂
Anyway, I tell my neighbor make he take heart while I sharply enter house before we later link up for two-two bottles 🍻

Lastnight my friend took me and my neighbor out, and we got back to the apartment around 3am. While we were out, we were mostly on our phones because the music was too loud to really talk properly.
I noticed my neighbor kept dialing a number over and over. Later, he got really focused on the drink on the table.. I just dey observe with the corner of my eye. When we got back to the apartment, the private chef came out of one of the rooms, asked if we needed anything, and then sat with us in the living room like landlady.
I told my neighbor that if he was tired, he could go into the room and rest, but he just kept watching the girl and didn’t move. Then he picked up his phone again and tried calling. Eventually, his wife picked up. He asked, “Where are you?” and she said she had already told him. He then insisted on switching the call to video, but the call ended. When he tried calling back, she didn’t pick up.
After that, I left him in the sitting room and went into the room myself. At this point, his visit here is starting to make more sense 😁. My friend and the private chef had already gone into the room earlier than I did.
By around 8am, I woke up feeling strong and healthy 😁and went back to the sitting room. I saw my neighbor coming from the kitchen looking upset, and he said, “Let’s go back home.” I was like, go back home ke? It’s still Saturday. Then I ask is madam on her way home already?.. Omo you need to see the bombastic side eye my neighbor gave me.
Then I saw the private chef in the kitchen. Only God knows what my neighbor discussed with her. He has already left, but I’m still here.
Now I’m wondering… should I ask the chef what they talked about, or just mind my business?

We finally met my friend after Google Map carried us go miss address first 😭 As we entered the apartment, I was relieved to discover it wasn’t my neighbor’s wife. At least I fit chop with peace of mind 😭 But one lady was there dressed very casually, and I already suspected she was the private chef, so I just minded my business. Next thing, my neighbor asked my friend: “Why your girlfriend dey like this?” My friend laughed and said: “She look like my girlfriend for your eye?” Then baba started narrating everything wey happen before we arrived .. it was uncensored. To change the topic, I quickly said: “Omo, this lady sabi cook o!” Na so my friend replied: “Private chef good gan.” 😭 Meanwhile, my neighbor has been calling his wife and she no dey pick. Wahala. But one thing sure… nothing go ever come out from my mouth 🤐 We still dey here sha.
