Working hard toward paper deadlines with one's co-authors is a truly fascinating experience. You may have never seen each other in-person, but you establish this deep sense of camaraderie. I vividly remember all my paper submission sprints. It's wild!

@thundercloudvol Yup, that's one of the first thing I tried :) and looked quite alright in Neuroglancer. If it's seamless for you guys then I guess it's more of a fundamental problem with our approach where we render chunked neurons as different segment IDs so the extensions don't quite match

@trinarytree If you mean the stitched region looks jagged, we extend the +X,+Y, and +Z axis of the cutout one voxel of overlap in order to create a seamless stitch in zmesh. Without doing that, we get large strips of missing data at the boundaries. Does that sound at all familiar?
