This is everything that’s wrong with UK education cultures in a nutshell. Also, pretty sure unions agreed there should be no numerical targets featured in PM reviews as standard but could be wrong there. Either way 😢

NEW: In England, the fine for taking children out of school without permission during term time has increased from £60 to £80 as of today, with the penalty doubling to £160 if not paid within 21 days.

@LuEliz1989 @TTRadioOfficial I took 2 years out of the classroom but was still working with schools - not sure if it counts but i did come back very refreshed and felt more clued up as I had the time to actually read some pegagogy books too
