NEW: Body-cam footage shows Hawaii doctor’s wife covered in blood after he allegedly tried to throw her off a cliff
Arielle Konig, 36, testified in Hawaii in the attempted murder trial of her husband, Gerhardt Konig
Gerhardt, an anesthesiologist from Maui, is accused of trying to push Arielle, a nuclear scientist, off a cliff during a hike on March 24, 2025, on Oahu
He is also accused of trying to inject her with a syringe and strike her with a rock
The footage shows a responding officer approaching Arielle and the two hikers who called 911 after hearing her scream, “He's trying to kill me.”

@theficouple If they can’t afford a larger home then they should pretend to be in the same situation before they bought their house. What would they do? Suck it up? Rent somewhere? They should have gotten raises in 6 years. Balls in their court. At the very least they could suck it up & stay
English

@theficouple After 6 years they should have some equity built up, add in current price and they should be able to pull from it using a HELOC. Use that to get instant access to cash for a down payment on their new home. Rent old home for more than their mortgage because of inflation. Win win
English

@BrandonStraka She should learn her loan terms. Wait until they find out how much they’ll actually paid pay over 30 years if they only pay the minimum. Her monthly payment is only $773.
I paid my full years insurance upfront.
People are pretty dumb. Mortgages have been around long enough

@SoveyX I have to wonder if all the people making the IED claim are bots are just stupid. They knew about the IED story but don’t know the fact he admitted he lied? I didn’t even know about the IED story I only ever heard of him after he admitted he lied because it went viral

@maziehirono Mazie you need to get off social media. One of the worst senators by far. You post daily about Trump on every platform. California and other liberal transplants love you but actual locals don’t. Your whole platform is bending to the liberal transplants and not to actual locals
English

Donald Trump is not, never will be, and has never been a king. #NoKings

@jakeshieldsajj No go outside the main cities. I’ve been there. It’s beautiful but it’s concentrated to certain areas. Go outside the main city. Go hours outside the city. Different story.
America is beautiful and we have a lot of wealthy people here too. You’re purposely comparing 🍎 2 🍊
English

@SenWarren Get rid of income tax altogether and just do a flat sales tax. Spend more pay more. Income tax is ridiculous and a wealth tax is even more ridiculous.

@NickyScatz At least daily consumption of diet soda was associated with a 36% greater relative risk of incident metabolic syndrome and a 67% greater relative risk of incident type 2 diabetes compared with nonconsumption

If I drank 5 five diet cokes a day for a year and you drank 5 regular cokes a day for a year I'd be fine and you'd be on insulin for type 2 diabetes.
LanaiLizard@BPerley
@HarmeetKDhillon “Diet” drinks are measurably worse for you than those with real sugar

@horsepower Get a ford maverick hybrid. More room, still quite small, probably close to double the mpg in city driving
English

@MattWallace888 Dated a girl like this for a bit. She’ll get tired of them in a few years. The stares at the beach and at the grocery store, constant back pain, among other negative things. Fun for a years though
English

@FalconryFinance it would take less than 5 minutes to make them usable again
English

@ChrisMartin1961 You aren’t by normal people. X isn’t full of normal people and they all echo what the last viral post said. Rarely a unique individual thought is on here by a blue checkmark and the brainless people in their comments.
English

@GeriPerna There’s plenty. The fields just shifted. Now it’s YouTube and making videos or streaming. Much less effort & skills. They make way more money too. The amount of wealthy young kids in the 80’s was pretty low compared to today. Way more wealth now, you’re just disconnected from it
English

When I worked at Macy's back in the 80's, people who worked there raised families on what they made. It was their career. I remember the guy in electronics retired after 30 years, and my boss in the cash office did the same. The guys who worked in the suit department did very well for themselves. Despite that, the store profited greatly every year, and we were given a beautiful Christmas party in appreciation. What changed in this country? When did it become nearly impossible to support oneself at a job that didn't require a degree or technical school?
English

@TGrammie2 Ingredients, something with calcium if I remember correctly or eggshells. It’s only very recent, maybe within the last 10 or so years
English

@thecavedaddy It says from which means very low experience.
Probably over time, welders get raises, and they get paid good with good skills
Also palatka, FL is pretty dirt cheap

English

$18/hr genuinely makes zero sense.
(It’s obviously a real listing, not saying I disagree).
I’m just not sure how someone survives off less than $20/hr while still enjoying life these days.
Ibis Florida Man@Another_FL_Man
@Alpaca_Capital @upstatefederlst $18/hour for a steel welder at a shipyard. Might as well work at Starbucks.
