@tripleparade I kinda don't recommend anything. Lately I think constantly about how in my mind the category of music I find coherent and inspirational is superseding the category of music I like. And in that regard I'm finding the Fenton album inspirational

@tripleparade These albums are like 8/9(* not the one that's Radiohead kid A) on the same japanese imprint called plop which was like glitch and folktronica based.. tbh I don't think too highly of that specific tape release lol

@tripleparade @katie_dey jokes aside, tricot's first album (tracks like Tobe and Artsick) have some simar elements to Polvo, a bit math-gaze-y(?) with just more vivid vocals, it might be just me

@McRecordscheese @katie_dey i kinda see it! i think my initial issue was that DLJ, Polvo, and Brainiac all went through different phases plus they differ from each other a bunch. like Cor Crane Secret v Lifestyles v Shapes are all pretty different imo.
