Marjorie, you’re actually right about one thing, Americans are getting crushed by health insurance. Families can’t afford $1500 or $2000 a month just to *maybe* see a doctor.
But here’s the part you’re missing: we don’t actually need health insurance at all.
Other countries already figured this out.
Canada, the UK, France, Germany, Australia—they all provide healthcare through taxes, not bloated insurance companies.
People there don’t get surprise bills, they don’t lose their homes because of medical debt, and they sure don’t spend half their paycheck on premiums.
You say you want to see CEOs chewed out on live TV, but the truth is you don’t need them in the room at all if the government just guarantees healthcare directly.
Democrats have been pushing for this for years—“Medicare for All.”
It’s simple: we pay taxes, and in return, the government covers healthcare just like it covers the military, roads, or police.
That’s not socialism, that’s common sense.
If you’re serious about ending the insurance racket, the solution isn’t yelling at CEOs, it’s making them obsolete.
You’ve got one foot in the right direction, but don’t stop short.
If you really want to help Americans, back universal healthcare.
It’s cheaper, it’s fairer, and it’s what the people you represent actually need.
And best of all, it's something Jesus would approve of.....
