I gotta admit, it’s admirable that Viktor Orban had the integrity to concede the election in Hungary. If a guy like that is willing to concede a loss, then there is no excuse for any democratic leaders to do otherwise.

@michaeljknowles Yeah, it’s gotta be dreadful that a Hungarian politician that was friendly with Vladimir Putin lost the election… the west is in big trouble 🙄

Orion's main parachute has deployed. The spacecraft has a system of 11 chutes that will slow it down from around 300 mph to 20 mph for splashdown. Get more updates on the Artemis II blog: nasa.gov/blogs/artemis/

Behind the four astronauts of Artemis II are hundreds of people tracking their every move: monitoring spacecraft systems, evaluating crew safety, and staying in constant communication. Let’s hear it for the team in Mission Control responsible for getting the astronauts around the Moon and safely home.

Asked the Artemis II crew what kind of ride they're in for on reentry — going from nearly 40x the speed of sound to a 20 mph Pacific splashdown. Won’t be as smooth as a space shuttle landing but I know they can handle it. So proud of this crew.

Recovery operations for Artemis II require elite coordination between NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration and the USS John P Murtha. As a San Antonio-class amphibious transport dock, the Murtha is uniquely equipped to handle the Orion spacecraft recovery. 🚀🌖⚓️
