His coaching CV: • 2007 World Cup finalist with Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 • IPL-winning coach with Sunrisers Hyderabad 🏆 • Three consecutive men's The Hundred titles with Oval Invincibles 🏆🏆🏆 • Successful stints in international, domestic, and franchise cricket • Now Global Director of Cricket. He has the experience, leadership, and tactical knowledge to excel in the role. England should at least have him on their shortlist.

Hmm this statement contradicts itself. ECB Brendon McCullum will stand down as England Men’s Test Head Coach McCullum Of course I'm gutted not to be continuing, but I respect the decision If you have stood down, why are you gutted and respect the decision? That reads like he has been sacked. So why not state he has been removed as test coach?
