The TOTS‑themed Puzzle SBCs and Daily Login Upgrade will be released during the upcoming TOTS Week (TOTS Week 4).
@NepentheZ@EASFCDirect nep i really like u, but we all know EA DON'T FUCKEN CARE if the player are playing the game or not, they just want you to open store packs to get fodders to make ur fav SBC, if they care about us playing the game they will try to make an effort for fixing the gameplay it self
I have a solution for you @EASFCDirect to save the final months of FC26. This wont fix all the problems, but it will allow people to play to earn, to complete content, and to engage in SBC's and fun gameplay.
A new, infinitely repeatable tournament. But here's the twist.....
You ONLY get the rewards for losing upon COMPLETING the game. So you can't just RQ minute 1 of Round of 16 and farm the first reward, you have to complete. However if you're winning and someone rage quits, you still advance.
You make it 3 minute halves, so if you're taking a beating it's over fast for your rewards, and you have no limits on squad requirements.
Lost in 1st Round? - 85+ x2
Lose in Quarters? - 85+ x5
Lose in Semi? - 86+ x5
Lose in Final? - 88+ x3
Win Final? 88+ x5.
You only get 1 reward, not all. The further you go, the better the rating to allow you to complete SBC's with 89/90 rated squads (and have a small chance of a TOTS pull) - and because you only earn rewards if you complete your game (unless you're winning / drawing and it's a RQ) - the cup should take the full alotment of time, which if we include loading into the games, cut scenes, celebrations, half time, pauses etc will roughly come out to 10 minutes a game.
So to earn an 88+ x5 it would take you 40 minutes. That means it would take you (assuming you won EVERY game) 15 HOURS of winning this thing to STILL not assure yourself enough fodder to complete Son TOTS SBC. That's 15 hours of grinding, and 1 Elite SBC still not assured.
What it would allow, is easier and better completion rates of
- Daily TOTS Upgrade / Player Pick Gring
- Daily 84+ x7 EPL Upgrade
- Ability to craft Icon Pack / Player Pick
- Ease of completing the 83+ x14
- Easier opportunity to complete low end / mid tier player SBC's like Russo, Welbeck, YPOTY Cards - which are only priced so stupid based on market price of fodder rather than ease of access to fodder.
Would also give people a chace to actually pack some TOTS's without being obligated to go to the store and who knows, might restore a LITTLE bit of faith in your community that you give 2 shits about us.
LMK what you think @EASFCDirect - Or... as likely will happen, ignore me and your dedicated consumers and pretend it's all OK before hitting us with another promo run up for FC27. Your call.
The idea for Blitz was born of something called a veridical paradox, which is a fancy way of saying something that seems counterintuitive but is nonetheless true. A good example of one of these is the birthday problem:
How many people need to be in a room before it's more likely than not that two of them share a birthday?
Initial logic would tell you that it should be somewhere in the range of 180-200 people, since you'd assume that at least 50% of the 365 days in the year need to be covered; surprisingly though, the answer is 23 people. I won't give you the entire rationale behind how it comes out to 23 since it's more fun to try and consider it yourself, but the math is correct.
Recently, I was getting coffee with a friend and talking about these paradoxes, when he had the idea that you could make a great original game from the 'two-deck matching problem' which states:
Take two shuffled decks of cards. Flip through both at the same time, one card from each deck simultaneously. What's the probability that at least one pair of cards matches (exact same card, same position in the deck) at some point?
I guessed around the 15% mark, but the answer is that about 63%(!!!) of the time, there will be a match within the two decks.
And so we got to work. After a considerable amount of back and forth between us, throwing around potential bet mechanics and design iterations, Blitz came to be. It's the first of many completely fresh Original Games we'll be putting out this year, hopefully you guys enjoy!
Hmmm @fairgambling I would really love to see the logs of all these tips/money going to these reviews. Keep in mind at the lowest level they currently owe $146,850.00 At a normal level its around half a million owed. 🤔
We're expanding the team! As we get closer to leaving beta, we're looking for:
