1000 worker-owned firms in US & worker-owned Mondragon, touted by socialists, started in poorer capitalist country, Spain. Lower 90% accounts for a majority of consumer spending & holds $trillions in wealth. If workers think they don't capture-full-value capitalism provides a path for capturing it.

The US should replace The Star-Spangled Banner with Country Roads as our national anthem. The latter is better because it's easier and more fun to sing, was written by an American, and celebrates the best state in the country.

Our City is doing its part too: maintaining the 78 degrees rule in our buildings, dimming/turning off our lights during peak electricity demand, asking private partners to do the same, and powering down non-essential equipment. A stable grid means the AC stays on, and lives are saved. Let's ease demand — and get through the heat — together.
