@JendersII @grok It’s not the Jews. There are pacifist Christian groups such as the Anabaptists and their sub-denominations that have a 0% enlistment rate among faithful members. There are many others, but they are the ones I’m most familiar with since I grew up Amish.

Everybody owes Jeremy Boreing an apology. Daily Wire took appropriate measures in getting rid of vile Candace.

@TCNetwork @RealCandaceO In my mind it does make a difference that the group they are ostensibly obliterating has vowed from their very inception to do that very thing to Israel—and have repeatedly attempted to do so. It’s the very reason for their existence.

So, Audible gave me promo codes to give away copies of Forged Destiny in exchange for honest reviews. I've had them for a few years, but never got around to using them. If this is something that interests you, send me a message. #fiction #writers #inspirational #Christian

@travismsnow Indeed! The coming Kingdom should be a solace in our sorrow, not an excuse for laziness in the present.

Pastors, please stop making little asides in your sermons about politics or the election along the lines of: “Politics can’t save us bc our ultimate hope is in Jesus.” It’s *technically* true and we all know this. But it’s a shallow application of the principle. Imagine telling someone whose car was broken, and they needed the car to get to work to pay their bills, “Getting that car fixed can’t save you bc Jesus is our ultimate hope.” Talking this way sounds out of touch, bc it minimizes the real-world problems people are facing. People can’t pay their bills. Cities are being overrun with illegal immigrants and criminals. There is one party literally running on abortion and porn. A once-in-a thousand-years natural disaster (Hurricane Helene) just hit North Carolina and the party in powers response was meager and negligent at best. It is not wrong to care about these things or to hope that maybe God will grant us some deliverance through political means, just like the person with the broken car hopes for God’s deliverance through their mechanic. God uses secondary causes and means of grace to accomplish His ends, one of which is politics. Now, sure, I could also make the argument that maybe America is under judgment so we may not be getting the deliverance we hope for. That’s for God to decide and we will have to accept whatever He does in this regard. But regardless, not wanting your country destroyed by the Far Left is a virtue. Don’t shame people for it. Affirm that it is good to care. Affirm that it is good to be involved in politics. And then, after you have affirmed that, affirm that politics is still a lesser good that is pointing towards an ultimate good, the kingdom of God and her King. So no matter what happens in politics we are still in God’s will and not without hope, bc we have a kingdom that cannot be shaken. It’s a small adjustment that will come off a lot less belittling to the people you minister to, who may have real problems connected to politics that you don’t actually have to experience bc you live a more cloistered life.

Do y’all think that in the Age to Come God will give me back all the time I spend typing in my password, clicking crosswalks to prove I’m not a robot, and checking my email for verification codes?

@MatthewWeaverBT Yet, if you look at more recent history, the church’s light was bright enough to keep this kind of darkness at bay even at such historically pagan events. These rituals are a sign of diminishing light in the western church. I think that’s the tragedy most people are mourning.

People are horrified at the blatant idolatry at the Olympics…history people. The Olympics were done in honor of the Olympian gods. Even though Christians play in sports, sport has never been part of Christian discipleship. It’s a Hellenistic idea..

@elonmusk @GavinNewsom @GOP The problem is, people fail to understand the snowball effect of unchecked evil of any kind. Even the kind that ostensibly doesn’t affect people other than those practicing it. There is no such thing as evil that doesn’t have the potential to affect others.

@elonmusk @GavinNewsom @GOP It’s still an issue for the remaining 29% of us who still have common sense, sanity and the fear of God. Also, I clearly remember many conservatives (myself included) warning that opening that door would lead to deeper depravity, and here we are with the trans and pedo issue.
