Why a 2nd Archway data pool?
⚡️ KYVE created a game-changing node tool called KSYNC, which makes it possible for node runners to tap into KYVE’s trustless data to rapidly sync to any historical height of an archived & validated chain for chain analysis or joining a network.
👉 There are different ways to sync with a chain, either via blocks, state (snapshots), or height. KSYNC provides all options to best apply to all use cases & needs.
✅ Having already launched a data pool that archives Archway’s historical block data via a Tendermint runtime, we needed to launch this second data pool dedicated to archiving & validating the state sync data as well.
🔎 Why is this state-sync integration unique?
Typically, state-sync can be a pain for node runners since you have to find a snapshot at the desired height & then a trust height & trust hash & 2 RPC servers.
💫 With KYVE, you don’t need all that! You can just skip to the height you need & access the trustless data for free, syncing within minutes!
