@GregLehman One of our takeaways was that we need more head-to-head comparisons of the FIFA 11+ with other interventions. In our review, the comparators would be individualized or semi-individualized prevention programs. But more robust S&C programs would certainly be interesting, as well.

Lazy request: Anyone know of research that simply compares an excellent strength and conditioning program with the FIFA-11 or other "warm-ups" for ACL injury prevention?

New paper where I argue that injuries such as hamstring strains and ACL injuries may be overuse injuries instead of acute injuries For example, the figure shows that fiber force & length during injury step is not different from many preceding steps FREE paper link in comments

Dynamic warm-up I implement with my classes on sprint days. Always subject to change, but this is the core framework. Rhythm, coordination, fluidity, biomechanical reinforcement, positive proprioceptive feedback, elasticity, and feeling good are some boxes we try to check.

Solid article in Sports Medicine about supplementation pre and post-op ACLR. Fortunately, the recs have held up over time and won't break the bank either. Give this one a read. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39853659/

Is AI going to replace us all? I ran a little experiment to see how well ChatGPT could grade student essays, and the results surprised me! Let’s just say I may never grade papers the same way again... travispollen.substack.com/p/can-chatgpt-…
