There is a shortage of straight men in New York. Due to a shortage of male attendees, some dating events in NYC charged women $100 and men $0, yet attendance still ran 3:1.

5 years ago, I was repeatedly penalized by Fakebook for posting "fake news" (which was actually truth and has since been vindicated as such) - if such information had been allowed, a lot of people who are currently dead might still be alive today. Now, however, 95% of my FB feed is flooded with fakery - fake stories, fake people, fake photos, fake videos - all invented by AI, and yet FB has no problems with that.

@Arkypatriot As a civilian (and when I was active but not in uniform), I put my hand over my heart. If I were still active duty and in uniform, I would salute. I believe saluting is an honor reserved for those in uniform.

For years, veterans were expected to put their hand over their heart during the National Anthem if they weren’t in uniform. Congress finally changed the law in 2008–2009, allowing veterans to render a proper military salute even in civilian clothes including the National Anthem not just raising or lowering or passing of the flag. Some habits never leave you. Veterans — do you salute or hand over heart? Semper Fi. 🇺🇸
