When I posted (below) last year about MPs Ayoub Khan, Afzal Khan and Naz Shah promoting the Waada luxury Dubai property scheme, it looked dodgy. The Times now reports it’s run by Pakistani fugitives banned from UK over corruption and forced to forfeit £190m after National Crime Agency (NCA) investigation. My local high street has 6 Turkish Barbers.. 6 !!! and outside each one there’s always at least 3 men loitering throughout the day smoking! We all know you can get more than a haircut and shave in these establishments. during Ramadan my husband, who is Catholic, refused to eat during lunch so that he could sit in solidarity with his Muslim co-workers. despite their reassurances, he said he felt bad. So today, which is a holy day (Good Friday) for us Catholics, his Muslim friends fasted with him until noon and no one had meat. they all had vegan/vegetarian meals. my heart is so grateful for these signs of love ❤️
