@Ernest1588761 You are asking am I aware as if your statement is entirely true. Also, an updated version of God's word is what was written 2,000 years ago but the beginnings of Christianity didn't start 2,000 years ago but when man was created. I've been where you are. Learn like a researcher

@truth_juu Are you aware that humans are originated from Africa? How can a book written by white people 2000years ago tell me how to leave my life? Are you also aware that Christianity isn't the oldest religion?

@BigStonedBug @Olu_Utd14 @_OKJ__ How can one know the all of one who created it all? If you don't even understand the all of His creation which you are close to and see, how can you know the all of the one to make it all? They run into contradictions not because He's false but because they don't know His all

Pastor Adeboye: “God is omnipotent.” Kelvin: “That might not be coherent.” Pastor Adeboye: “Why not?” Kelvin: “Because if omnipotence means the ability to do all things, then it seems to include contradictions.” Pastor Adeboye: “What kind of contradictions?” Kelvin: “well, Like whether God can create a rock so heavy that He cannot lift it.” Pastor Adeboye: “don’t be silly,That’s a misunderstanding. God can only do what is logically possible.” Kelvin: “So omnipotence doesn’t mean ability to do ‘all things,’ but ‘all logically possible things’?” Pastor Adeboye: “Yes, that’s the correct understanding.” Kelvin: “hmm. Is it logically possible to lie?” Pastor Adeboye: “Yes, of course.” Kelvin: “Then God should be able to lie, since it’s logically possible.” Pastor Adeboye: “No, God cannot lie. It’s against His nature.” Kelvin: “So now omnipotence means ‘all logically possible things consistent with God’s nature’?” Pastor Adeboye: “Exactly.” Kelvin: “But doesn’t that shift the definition again to avoid the paradox?” Pastor Adeboye: “No, it clarifies it.” Kelvin: “so His power is determined by His nature.” Pastor Adeboye: “Not determined…expressed through His nature.” Kelvin: “But if His nature sets the boundary of what he can do, then omnipotence just means ‘doing whatever your nature allows.’” Pastor Adeboye: “It means He is perfectly powerful.” Kelvin: “But that sounds circular. God is omnipotent because He can do what His nature allows, and His nature is defined so He remains omnipotent.” Pastor Adeboye: “You’re trying to reduce God to human logic.” Kelvin: “I’m trying to see if the concept is coherent.” Pastor Adeboye: “It is coherent within divine understanding.” Kelvin: “But if omnipotence just means ‘can do whatever is consistent with one’s nature,’ then that applies to everyone… everyone would be by that definition ,omnipotent.” Pastor Adeboye: “What do you mean?” Kelvin: “I can do absolutely everything that is logically possible given my nature…I can walk, think, speak, but not fly or lift mountains.” Pastor Adeboye: “That’s just being human.” Kelvin: “Exactly!. But by your definition, that would also make me omnipotent too…since I can do all things consistent with my nature.” Pastor Adeboye: “That’s clearly not the same thing.” Kelvin: “Then your definition fails to distinguish God from everyone else. It either collapses into contradiction, or into a trivial tautology where everyone counts as omnipotent.” Pastor Adeboye: “You’re overcomplicating a divine mystery.” Kelvin: “Or the concept keeps being adjusted to avoid contradictions rather than resolve them…. So far you’ve failed to provide a definition of omnipotence that works” Pastor Adeboye: “Faith is not built on these arguments.” Kelvin: “But claims about God’s nature are.” Pastor Adeboye: “Me and my church will be praying for you 😒”

@kaizen000000000 As if you were born all wise. Do you even know how certain knowledge became a norm these days or how reasoning between good and bad has been able to reach this standard? You speak as if you discovered and shaped what the world accepts as logic by yourself. Reason about the hows

@aimieeee___ It's funny how people hate Christianity so much. What do you really lose being a Christian? The Bible Himself speaks about false teachers and prophets so this should tell you there is falsehood somewhere.Don't entirely blame the religion.Blame those who make it look like slavery

When you tell Christians to choose themselves when they justify why they worship a god called Yahweh. The next thing is to call you a fool. Better than being called a slave. Slave to an imaginary idea.

"If we say God made the universe, then surely the next question is, "Who made God?" If we say God was always here, why not say the universe was always here? If we say that the question "Where did God come from?" is too tough for us poor mortals to understand, then why not say that the question of "Where did the universe come from?" is too tough for us mortals?" ~ Carl Sagan

The more we study reality, the more we realize: We don’t need God to explain the universe. We don’t need God to be moral. We don’t need God to find meaning. We only need God if we’re too scared to live in a world where we’re responsible for our own shit. Religion isn’t a source of truth. It’s a comfort blanket for adults who can’t handle reality. Face reality. Grow up. 🔥

@theerealtao @_OKJ__ Remember omnipotence doesn't work without wisdom. Therefore His infinite wisdom comes to play so you must not just single out one attribute if you really want to understand Him. Bring the attributes together

@_OKJ__ 🤦🏾‍♂️... "God can do literally anything," then quietly add "except contradictions or things against His nature." At that point it's no longer omnipotent, just "God is whatever we need him to be to stay coherent." Classic retreat into semantics. Well played.

@_OKJ__ God being Omnipotent is just one of His attributes. To be able to understand His being, you should be able to assemble all His attributes in order to know how His omnipotence really works. Singling only one out only explains to a limit. A spider web gives you the complexity

The Bible wants us to believe that about 3 million Israelites (if you count women and children) crossed the Red Sea in one night. That is mathematically impossible. Let’s say they lined up in 20 columns, that will mean 150,000 rows. With that arrangement, crossing the shortest width of the Red Sea (~ 26km) would have taken at least 3 days to complete, assuming they walked non-stop. That story was 100% lie. And if that’s a lie, you now wonder how many other lies are in that book. A lot.

That question is older than all of us. Some people ask it in anger. Some in pain. Some in disbelief. And honestly, it’s a fair question. Slavery was brutal, dehumanizing, evil. So where was God? For many believers, the answer isn’t that God approved it but that humans abused their free will. But one thing is clear: slavery says more about humanity’s capacity for evil than it does about God’s absence.

@_Ochiedike Jesus mostly used parables or wise sayings. Until you're able to decode the early parts of that statement contextually, you'll understand what He meant. He wasn't talking about physically ascending or descending and that's the key. The Bible never contradicts.

In 2 Kings 2:11, the Bible states that Elijah ascended to heaven. John 3:13 says that no one has ascended into heaven except the one who came out of it. Christians, which one will we choose?🤷🏾‍♂️

@thematrixb0t Being a slave wasn't the problem. Not having the freedom to exercise your will was. Slaves ate what their masters ate. You eat what you want. Slaves were beaten. No one lays a finger on you. The list continues and that shows the flaw in your analogy. Enjoy your dignity n space
