The World Cup begins tomorrow, and many will watch the matches. Soccer reminds us of something we must not forget: life is not a race to show off on our own, but a path we learn to walk together. Anyone who does not know how to pass the ball, even if they have talent, has not yet understood the game. Anyone who does not know how to live with and for others has not yet understood life. #ApostolicJourney

Chidera Ikeoha just shared his second-term result with me. He got straight A’s in all 17 of his subjects. We found him at a motor park in Enugu selling his books at 9 years old to fend for his family. Publicly, people bought his books as a way to support him. We invested it in his education, and it’s bearing fruit. He will be in SS2 by September. The funds available will see him through school. A star is born!

Watching my amputated leg slowly decay because cancer is eating it up is one of the most heartbreaking things I have ever experienced. The pain I have endured over the past few weeks has been unbearable. Please, I need all the help I can get. 8146203234 moniepoint

I honestly don’t know who is crazier. Real Madrid for offering €150M for Julián Alvarez or Atletico Madrid for rejecting it.

@DrKalu_ Kano is the safest place in the North and one of the safest in Nigeria. There is a higher level of insecurity in Owerri than in Kano. I served in Kano 2 years ago, and there was no insecurity there.

Rev Fr Achi búrñt to ashes in Minna Niger State, Nigeria , A Dark Memory That Must Never Be Forgotten 💔😭 In loving remembrance of Rev. Fr. Isaac Achi. The Catholic community in Kafin-Koro and the entire Catholic Diocese of Minna still remember with deep sorrow the tragic night when bandits attacked the parish residence and cruelly took the life of Rev. Fr. Isaac Achi, burning him to death inside his home. His assistant priest survived with gunshot injuries and was rushed to the hospital for treatment. Though time has passed, the pain remains fresh in the hearts of many faithful. This painful event reminds us of the dangers faced by priests and worshippers in different parts of Nigeria, where churches and communities continue to suffer attacks. Today, we remember a shepherd who gave his life in service to God and humanity. May his sacrifice never be forgotten, and may peace return to our land. Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the soul of Rev. Fr. Isaac Achi, and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen. 🙏🕊️ - I love my Catholic Faith.

PATRIOTIC SOJA ($TSIR-MUNCHAN)
💔😭I have seen survivors emerge from the bush after weeks in captivity. I have interrogated captured k!dnapp£rs. I have walked into camps after rescue operations. So let me answer you straight. Do k!dnapp£rs feed their victims? Sometimes. But not out of kindness. They feed victims for one reason: to keep them alive long enough to extract ransom. A d£@d hostage pays nothing. So they provide the bare minimum usually stale food, dirty water, sometimes nothing for days. What about the school children now in the bush? They are surviving, not living. They eat what their captors eat: whatever is available. That could be mouldy bread, uncooked grains, or leftover meals from the k!dnapp£rs' own rations. In some camps, children go days without food to pressure their families into paying faster. How do they survive? Fear. Hope. And the resilience of the human body, which can endure more than we imagine. I have seen children who lost weight, fell sick, were denied medication, yet still clung to life. But make no mistake: every day in captivity is physical and psychological torture. The k!dnapp£rs are not running a charity. They are running a criminal enterprise. The victims are inventory. And inventory is not fed well it is fed just enough not to die. That is why rescue operations cannot wait. Every day delayed is another day of suffering. 🙏PRAY FOR THEIR RELEASE. BUT ALSO PRAY THAT THOSE WHO SURVIVE DO NOT CARRY THE TRAUMA FOREVER.

So do kidnappers feed their victims? Like those school children in the bushes now, them dey chop? How they surviving?
