@willmcgugan I wonder if you could set up a bot to automatically close issues/PRs that don't adhere to repo templates

Why use AI to post an issue in a repository? It turns a simple message in to a wall of text with tables, headings, and checkboxes. This s*** is making me trigger happy with the close button. And I hate that.

Im so happy with yazelix v13.3 This is like planting a tree or writing a book for me Like a weight off my soul Because I had a vision, and managed to make it true, birth it into the world It's one less regret to carry on my deathbed I still have many ideas to implement tho

is there something like the opposite of autism where you're exceptionally skilled at reading people and love being around them, and instead of perceiving the world through categories you see it all as divinely connected and full of signs everywhere

@tayloramurphy meh, feels like this totally misses the point of markdown-as-a-graph network, yeah you dont wanna reinvent graph querying but i dont think anyone is trying to. the secret sauce imo is interchange -- fluid and lossless conversion btw markdown, html, trees, streams, etc

One thing I see a lot of very smart people getting wrong about the future is what moats will still exist. Taste and distribution are not going to be effective moats. The only moat will be an actual moat. If your team is not physically excavating the earth around your office while a dozen Claude agents build your app, you're ngmi. The companies who figure this out first are going to be impossible to compete with.

im certified not crazy in my mermaid complaints. this d2 suggestion sounds interesting. long-time followers know my love for declarative charts. for example, i find vega/altair among the best ways to do normal charts.

Next week we're shipping extensions in Copilot CLI. The agent can write and hot reload its own typescript extensions that define custom tools, hooks, etc. Here is an extension that renders an interactive canvas in the browser based on what you're working on.

Suppose you overtake 10 times as many runners as overtake you. What can you say about your speed relative to the other runners? (everyone is running around a circular track in the same direction forever, and each person started at a random point)

@willmcgugan Because there is a wide number of programmers out there that truly believe it doesn't matter if you write tests before or after the code

A consistent theme on AI slop PRs is "regression" tests that pass without the supposed fix. I do wonder why. Is this a failure on the AI side, or a failure in the user's prompt?
